...and threadcrapping full of subjective opinion is impressive? At least tell us what you mean by impressive and provide some actual comparisons to the "hundred other phones out there" that have the same feature set. That would be impressive.
Knee jerk much? The response you're attacking is correct. It stands to follow that intelligent, capable people demand better compensation. Nowhere in the comment you're attacking was the statement that such people needed to selfessly give themselves away to the school districts. We clearly do need better educators if people can't read and comprehend stuff online and resort to assuming that random statements are made when they clearly are not.
You mean the Larson responsible for the atrocity known as Battlestar Galactica 1980 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galactica_1980)? Was there not enough silly time travel missions? Not enough disco? Somehow I don't really care much what Larson thinks.
It's a real gamble with cheap cases. I've run into too many that have had such poor fit that either I couldn't install the motherboard or the expansion cards because the case wouldn't let the card seat properly in the slot. YMMV but I'd rather pay for a properly built case with good, practical features (bent edges, tool-less, etc).
I might believe this if theater owners actually talked to real live people instead of reacting to protect their antiquated business model. I'll add my two cents just to prove that I don't prefer poorly maintained, poorly cleaned, and way-overpriced theaters with their sound and projection systems out of whack. The boutique theaters are doing well because they're in good shape, offer a more interesting selection of movies, and many of them actually offer real food as opposed to just the same old candy, popcorn, and nachos that we've seen for decades. C'mon. Their biggest innovations are stadium seating and way-too-loud DTS (at best)? Give us a reason to go to the theater and (surprise!) we'll go.
A geek or a good IT person cna make that distinction. However, it's really irrelevant to your average Joe business man or, even worse, average Joe exec. Those of you who don't know that really need a dose of corporate world reality.
Not a bad solution for the money, however you do need to qualify it with:
No mailbox integration (contacts, calendar, notes, tasks in addition to mail). It's incredibly useful that messages sent from my Blackberry are in my Sent Items in Outlook. It's also very useful for me to be able to file and maintain my mailbox even when I'm away from the office or a web-connected computer. No wireless sync (over GPRS or EDGE -- I don't mean WiFi or Bluetooth). No global address list lookup. Why bother with creating contacts (with the potential for your records being out of date) for everyone in your company or memorizing email addresses when you can look them up as needed in real time from the GAL?). No generating, accepting, declining, or suggesting alternate times for meeting requests. No intranet access. No PIN messaging which is very useful even though they're not necessarily private. SMS is similar to PIN but nowhere near as reliable.
There's probably more that I can't recall off the top of my head but those are the major ones in my book. It seems that a lot of people don't understand the full capabilities of the Blackberry. Push email is its strongest point but it is certainly capable of so much more.
Supply and demand. Your (faulty) assumption is that somehow The Simpsons and Standalone Complex are comparable. They aren't and consumers do pay for the difference. I mean, I can also buy bargain bin DVD's for $9 or less. Does this logically mean that all entertainment should cost $9 for X hours of content??
You're missing the point -- SyFy can be trademarked.
Even this reply misses the mark. No one was asking for a history of editing.
Again, what decent editing system today isn't nonlinear?
Well, clearly it does.

What book are the Nexus Ones in?
The meta meta mods, of course!
Place and growth are 2 different things. Much like speed and acceleration.
Did you even read the article? Or are you lacking comprehension skills?
Do you really have to ask? It's not anything new to Hollywood.
One reason: Droid and Eris are CDMA only.
Unlocked is used to refer to the subsidy lock. The second word you're looking for is rooted.

Sounds like you haven't even looked at such systems in ages.
Since when is resistance to change a good reason?
1G? Which carrier still offers analog service?
Excuses, excuses. Turn in your damned car or shut up. You CHOSE to live in the boonies. You CHOSE to propose that people get rid of their cars.
Sure you can.

Larson hated the new series

The PC platform won't always have the most powerful hardware. Things change.
Try using Google. Directron has always offered a huge selection of Chieftec cases, including the Dragon series.
