In the article, the lack of a commercially available DVD Player for Linux is discussed.
Don't know if the interviewer or this Slashdot article is wrong, but in the latter it is mentioned that the new TurboLinux 10 F ships with...legal commercial DVD playback (via Cyberlink's PowerDVD player)...

To prevent typing the password every time they want to play a quick script like this: https://lists.aas.duke.edu/pipermail/ntgrou p/2003- May/001354.html will do. The interesting task is obscuring the password enough to prevent the kids from picking it up - securing it 100% is probably not possible with this solution. Bury it in the registry, place it in a mySQL database or some obfuscated hidden system file etc..

The Danionics batteries are quite expensive but supposedly lighter than comparable models.
Danionics isn't exactly doing well:
http://www.danionics.com/sw982.asp
and has recieved a lot of bad press in danish media as analysts has predicted that they will go out of business soon.
Maybe Apple will switch to a cheaper model battery if Danionics is unable to deliver?
At work we switched to Freevcs after experiencing one too many VSS database-corruptions.
FreeVCS is a free (as in beer) client/server VCS, using a relational database such as Firebird or Microsoft SQL Server. It is a stand-alone product, and as such offers no integration to Visual Studio (although some integration to Borland Delphi exists)
The original author has stopped development and released the source to the open-source project JediCVS. JediVCS have yet to produce a release, so for now stick with FreeVCS.

It's probably like the guy from Fight Club, he's working on Linux during the day, and unconsciously committing FreeBSD patches during the night.

You would think this would be considered a good thing by the industry...
Tricky double negations
The most commom provider here in Denmark, TDC, charges about 100 US$ / month (599 DKR) for 2Mbit/256Kbit ADSL.
The most common line here AFAIK is the less expensive 512Kbit/128Kbit which can be had for about 60US$ / month (359 DKR)

I emailed the author about adding the ability to export replays, and he answered:
I didn't have time to include that functionality, but I hope I have time to add it to a future version.
Something I am definitely looking forward to!
Actually, the replays are saved along with the score when you get a highscore. You can view them from the highscore list.
Haven't found a way to export the replays from the highscore list though...
