Fortunately, they still don't have the ability to track what your other hand is doing, at any time.
> Galeon's smart bookmarks already handle a Wikipedia search box in the toolbar. I've set it up myself -- you might consider submitting a Wikipedia entry as default for galeon though. Smart bookmarks are excellent. I have them set up for Everything2, Wikipedia, the BBC's Hitchhicker's GTTG board, IMDB etc etc.
Thanks for the tip (and you too, other Mr. A/C). I just added Wikipedia and Wiktionary, and the IMDB suggestion sounds good too.
> All the channels I saw reported weapons found over those pesticides. Wasn't just Fox.
ABC reported the discovery, but clearly stated that some in the US military suspected that they were disguised WMD, and an investigation was being mounted. But they never misrepresented the discovery as a vindication of the Administration's pre-war claims about WMD.
> The end result would probably be to reduce the amount of XFree code in a distribution, rather than to increase the credit that the XFree project wants. It's almost certainly a counter-productive move.
Didn't they already cave in on another license issue several years ago, since the primary effect would have been to isolate themselves?
> They turn off all the 'automate EVERYTHING' approaches microsoft seem to think are a good idea, then it will become safe again to actually click on the links?
But if they turn off 'automate EVERYTHING' then Windows will become susceptible to the Linux "forward this message to a friend and then delete all your files" virus.
But yeah, "type in the links" is the ultimate irony from the company whose fixation on faux "ease of use" has wrecked the internet with a crapflood of viral e-mail.

...we slashdotted thee well.

Unless of course there's life after death, in which case you'll probably get spamned for all eternity.

Think of the children!

While they're waiting for the phone to ring, they can work on the article for "Encyclopedia Salesperson".
> That is such a good website, gets more informative every day. It's amazing how quickly it has become a useful source of info.
Yeah, I've started thinking about hacking Galeon to put a Wikipedia search box on the toolbar with the Google, dictionary, and other lookup stuff.
> Are there full-time people who patrol it for trolls?
No, but it's the "many eyes" thing. You can see in the histories that lots of vandalism gets fixed really fast.
Only people who can afford their own computers should be allowed to look at porn.
- Used phone to plan crime --> phone companies and phone makers held responsible.
- Threatened bank w/ note about fake bomb --> makers of pencil, paper, and luggage held responsible.
- Used car in getaway --> automaker, oil company held responsible.
- Used gun in shootout w/ police --> gun and ammo maker held responsible. [not far from there now]
Of course, if those businesses were "criminal", then the businesses that sell them tools and supplies are also criminal. [apply recursively]Judge: "100 million Euros!" [Touches pinkie to corner of mouth.]

FWIW, this hypothesis has bee around for years. I've mentioned in in previous Slashdot discussions of global warming.
