You make a mostly good point. I bet your hardware runs a lot better/faster on Windows than Linux. Once the hardware manufacturer's start having Linux guys in-house contributing the kernel, then that will be a lot better.
This whole comment sounded a lot better in my head.
Not quite. I think Yoko still owns a few of them. I remember reading about a dispute over how the song writing credits for "Hey Jude" or "Yesterday" would go. Whether it should be listed as (Lennon/McCarthy) or (McCarthy/Lennon). Yoko had something to do with this.
Please correct me if I'm wrong!
I don't know where you work, but here almost ALL documents, spreadsheets and presentations are collabortive efforts. I tried using OO as my primary Office suite, but after the 20th complaint I went back to Office 2003.
What about the US? How about we stop building weapons and educate our children? I mean, come on! Who are we going to use our nucular tipped bunker buster bombs against? A couple of tired 'terrorists' hunkering in a cave on the Pakistan border? Seems like using a shotgun to kill flies to me.
I think a few well trained special ops teams could do the work of many of our over-powered weapons.
may I be the first to make the obvious suggestion: bullet-proof vest?
No, you may not. Someone called into to C-SPAN the other day to suggest the exact same thing, and it was quickly ruled out because (a) John Kerry, who is also under secret service protection, would have had one on as well and (b) security for the debates was super tight.

Wait. So they voted for it, before they were against it? I'm glad Russ Feingold is my senator, the only smart guy in the Senate that day...
Actually they've been pushing the mature audience thing since Mortal Kombat II for the SNES.
Remember, if ET's not with us, he's against us. We're gonna' smoke 'em out. Don't mess with Texas. Yee-haw!!!!!!!!!!
Ah ha! The REAL cause of global warming. OC'd CPU's.
Source?
Does anyone know if there are portable players out there that support FLAC? I've looked and haven't been able to find anything.
Damn it! That should have been McCartney.

Think again.
10.1!? Tell us, what is the future like? Will the Red Sox beat the Yankees this year?
If I get really bored at work, I VNC into my machine at home and play CivIII. Works pretty good!
Three minutes and the server has already been blow to bits by the Death Star-like fanboys (and fangirls) of Slashdot.
Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.
That'd end your trip real quick, wouldn't it kid?
Hurray! On step closer to getting off this wet rock.
Pray I don't alter it any further.
It says in the "read more" section that it unites perl and python.
Yes. And thanks for your pity.
I still use OO at home though.
Dude, we need to like, put like, more THC in hemp. Cause them, it would be like....ummmm. Anyone got a Twinkie?
Agreed. I've been off caffeine for 48 hours now, so I do have a small excuse.
Here here! Anything to take money away from the military-prison-industrial complex.

You know, or not.
