    I had heard another sim city was being released and I was kind of excited, but ugh, not anymore.

    I've been a fan of my ps3 since I bought it, as a good chunk of my friends have it, the games on it tend to focus less on "OMG SHOOTER GAME#1232".
    Awhile ago there wasthat story on the ps4 having the "fee for used games" thing, as well as account locks.
    I immediately discarded the idea of buying a ps4, thought maybe i'd buy the next gen microsoft console instead, despite hating shooting games.
    Well, looks like I'm not getting this either. Guess I'll just have to get a Wii-U/stick to PC.
    As much as I rag on Nintendo for being sub-par, at least they haven't become douchebaggy yet.

    I was actually talking about this with a friend, the fact is stuff that years ago I would have consider groundbreaking are discovered left and right.
    The problem is people these days are desensitized to such things, not that I blame them.
    Can you imagine trying to explain to someone 20 years ago that you have a device in your pocket that lets you, just about anywhere, access all the world's knowledge?

    The reason you don't "see" any inventors is because of the massive hoard of lawyers that would come after any public inventor.
    People who invent tend to keep it to themselves, because they'd never turn a profit after all the lawsuits.

    Most Republicans I know, when faced with facts against their leaders, would simply blow it off, saying I'm listening to much to the "leftist media"
    However, on the same token, when I presented Democrats with facts against what their leaders said, they'd tell me to "stop being a sheeple listening to faux news"

    The fact of the matter is is that facts don't matter, people will believe who and whatever is more convenient to them.

  21. I can't be arsed to find it, but awhile back there was a story about a guy who had agents mistakenly arrest him at gunpoint.
    It turned out his neighbor was using his wifi to download child porn, but they thought it was him.
    Until you can guarantee something like that won't happen (as well as removing bandwidth caps), mine will be staying under lock and key.

    There have been several times where I was asked to print out and fax back documents.
    I've told them no, filled out the documents with the text adding tool in MSPaint and used a mouse to make a signature and emailed it back.
    They had no complaints, and if a complete idiot like myself can do this, they yes, it /is/ trivial.
