    I will add that US figure has also halved, but has taken 20 years to do so (and is still 3x more prevalent per capita)

    The problem isn't "more" or "bigger" government - but having a government that has the balls to stand up and say "pay your fair share"

    Unfortunately - here in the UK we have the same problem... the people pay more while the corporations pay next-to-nothing

    Fair point - anything that can be checked simply (and quickly) would do, it doesn't have to be specially issued i guess - we all have National Insurance 9social security) numbers after all (but no national ID card)

    Odd... never had any problem here in the UK. You're registered as a voter, they send you a voting card just before the election, you turn up at the booth with your card, hand it over, and vote. How difficult is that?

    In many states, it is illegal to confirm that the person showing up to vote has the right to do so.

    I very honestly never saw that in my entire life. What is the point since TV is the final watching device?

    Comes in rather handy if there's something on whilst you're not at home - or do all TVs come with built in DVD (or disk) recording now?

    As I understand it the APA are replacing the term "Aspergers Syndrome" with a cover-all "Autism Spectrum Disorder". Anyone who would treat you as an outcast for being who you are won't change their view - they'll just change the insult to suit whatever terminology happens to be in use at any given point in time (assuming they even bother to keep up).

    So... daft question time... Your label has changed - so what? You're still the same person are you not?
