They can still track who you talk to, who your friends are, what websites you visit, who you call (assuming your calls encrypted, if not what you talk).
I am not a fanboi of any of the cars (I more of bike and tram guy), but if you did study GM Volt's CVT transmission, you should definitely try out Toyota's Prius CVT system (it is also being licensed by ford and is being used their hybrid cars). On a technical standpoint, I think Toyoya's is far better than the one GM uses. Check it out for yourselves.
CITATION NEEDED. And no I am not going to read a 1000 page book. You make the statement, you quote the source (as in so and so book (translated and authored by xxx), page number 999)
I believe you misunderstood the ruling and the agreement. The no poaching agreement (atleast the ones that exist today), is to avoid Apple cold calling Google employees and offering to interview them. This agreement is considered perfectly legal. Despite the no poaching agreement, Google employees are free to apply for positions in Apple and get hired.
What is illegal is an agreement that prohibits Google employees from being hired by Apple (corporations have tried to get this to stick by various means, but have never been successful (in California atleast))
Wasnt the Linus shaming them for not supporting Optimus (which would help a lot of netbooks and laptops) and not about Tegra (which works but is not opensource, and hence makes custom ROMs difficult)
I would happy if I can occasionally record calls, even for a very short time.
And you clearly are using you imagination if you dont see much purpose in hacking the device. One can set it up as an XMPP client (which can inturn be used for Google Chat/Talk), one can possibly set it up a skype client, one can add plenty of protocols that are not supported.
You are not dependent on the utility company, but on the gas company (Shell, etc). As far I understand, diesel is also supplied by trucks by the same gas company. I wonder if the regular CNG can be used directly on these fuel cells though, impurities can pretty much kill the cells.
I hope you are joking. Did you think a datacenter technician would take a gas cylinder, go to a CNG station, refill it and bring it back to the data center? Datacenters use enough natural gas to have a purpose build huge storage facility and sign direct contracts with the gas companies to maintain and refill the gas storage,
Sure you can. If read the paper (and any other papers relevant to this) and tell us why you believe you can do better, I am sure you can get a grant for it. Believe it or not, this how the scientific community works. If the author of paper you are quoting made sure no body else has tried this before, and he publishes his results, he has pretty much earned his grant. His results (presented in a conference or somewhere) will inspire other researchers to do better. Someone else like you will do better and publish it. This cycle goes on and on, until very little improvements are possible.
Generally they'll send you back to the country you came from.
This is worth addressing, so I will post again. I believe you are referring to case where you are refused entry into the country (which is different from deportation). The usual procedure is to send you back to the last port of call (the airline/ship/who_ever_brought_you is responsible for this, often at their own expense)
I understand your point. I have been told in my childhood to not judge people quickly. But I always find knowing how biased you are to be more beneficial (and easier) than try to not judge people. I am of the opinion that everyone is judgmental, irrespective of how hard they try.
Sorry for going off-topic, but this was worth addressing.

Encryption hardly solves the problem.

Did you think US is the only country that believes its laws apply worldwide and it knows no jurisdiction? Well, think again.
Thanks for the laugh. I am surprised it has not been modded up yet.

You mean people store passwords as plain text without hashing (not to mention salting the hashes)? Will people ever learn?

You must be new here
Isn't Do Not Track voluntary? The advertiser can choose not follow it, right? If so, what is all the fuss about?
Be happy that they dont have endure Patch Tuesday any longer.
He would be better off dead in a ditch than in a US Federal prison?
FTFY. And the answer is yes (he would never survive in fed prison, with plenty of violent offenders (he truly does not belong there))
You can mount your smartphone on your car you know, there are mounts available for it.

Add new protocols (get it to support the Opus codec). Get it to record calls. There are lots of things you can do.
May I ask, what you do that requires scripting and macroing (or did you mean complex formulas for spreadsheet).
Mod UP! This is the next best alternative to mechanical keyboards.
Exactly, what the article proposes is you order a truck full of CNG instead of diesel (sorry if I had not made this clear in my previous posts).
You are not dependent on the utility company, but on the gas company (Shell, etc). As far I understand, diesel is also supplied by trucks by the same gas company. I wonder if the regular CNG can be used directly on these fuel cells though, impurities can pretty much kill the cells.
The difference is only in marketing. One successful marketing campaign can turn industrial diamonds into gem quality diamonds.

Nobody called you a sheeple. Why so defensive?

PS: IANAL, in case it was clear.
