just an observation about your comment "I think all that shows is how well you take a test", in life (get off my lawn) i have noticed that we are continuously presented with challenges and are gauged on how we perform on the said "tests". IMHO the ability to take the test (preparedness) is a good ability to have to be successful in life. Granted it is just one set of skills necessary for success and there are many others.

considering solar is during the day. the peak usage is from 830am to 9pm, so basically the energy company is getting cheap solar from consumer, selling it at the highest peak rates and then complaining to get more of a handout.
