My personal experience has been that "fresh, vine ripened produce" tastes better than stuff shipped green to "cook" during travel.
living in CA, seems like the tag "organic" is a giant racket that requires farmers to jump through hoops (increased costs) to get their produce labeled organic. Increased costs are sometimes justified by consumers by granting them attributes that may not be completely true. missing the whole reason why farm fresh, pesticide free was good in the first place.
most farmers market sellers farm in a health conscious way but don't go through the process of getting certified. their produce does taste better than some grocery stores, but now even most grocery stores are carrying decent local produce.
"personal/corporate modes or whatever they call it interesting" this is actually awesome from a BYOD stand point... I no longer would have to remote wipe a user device just to maintain corporate policy...
+1 insightful "they're a player that people shouldn't ignore." along with the rest of your comment. I am a BB and recently droid user, and if the BB10 is anything like the videos online, i can switch back in a hear beat. I loved the way the interface was designed around phone communication (hmmm a phone designed for phone use!!) i could start typing numbers(/characters) from any screen and BB realized that it is a phone first... simple things like that. They did drop the ball but hopefully they are humbled enough to continue innovating rather that sit ona product and think all will be well. competition is always a plus in my book.
"people that "want" to buy a tablet based on a specific software, i.e. Droid, IOS or win8 not included. Since they will buy what they actually want." my original comment was made for general consumer's purchasing stand point, since the article insinuated that win8 buyers will switch to iPad.
you are entirely correct in saying that "being heavily invested in those other ecosystems" and that is the real issue MS has to deal with, late as they are to the market.
any one who wants an iPad, and can afford one will buy an iPad. Those that don't want an iPad (me included) would have made that decision based on some reason (whatever that might be). people that buy the w8tablet either are getting a good deal (priced) for holidays or know nothing about tablet technology... not because there is or isn;t a new iPad available.

probably not since the response would be swift shotgun pellet sized
however the truthiness index was high...

"hello, this is Peggy.."
however they don't restrict the manufacture to just MS for their devices (yet?) so better comparison would be Google/Droid
