It's already being done. Twitter, YouTube, etc already hide "objectional" or "conspiracy" content. YouTube also de-monetizes anyone who says the wrong things.
Implementing the vacations/more sick days/ etc would negatively affect stock values for shareholders. This is actually illegal for a corporation to do in the US, without providing concrete facts stating that it would lead to higher yields (good luck with that).
It's hard to believe one person could completely shut down a company like this. I'm hoping the judge isn't some 75 year old who doesn't even know how to turn on a computer.
Reddit got the investment, and now any post that gets too popular and is negative about the Chinese government gets removed from/r/all and/r/popular. It was proven quite quickly because several BIG posts about Tianamen Square were removed that day.
Basically, reddit has become an arm of the Chinese propaganda department.
I fully expect all of our power supply plants to be shut down (or worse), as they have already admitted multiple times that they are extremely vulnerable to computer attacks. Maybe an enemy country will do it. Maybe some insane hackers or religious extremists will do it. Either way, it will result in mass chaos, after which, the State will clamp down even harder on personal freedoms.
Apple has largely abandoned it's computer customers. Everything they do is focused on the iPhone. Macs used to be the go-to for any kind of graphical artist. Now they can't even handle most graphics programs well. It's sad that they abandoned their core artist base to suit kids sitting on coffee shops, showing off their Mac accessory.
I really, really hope services you love and depend on drop the EU, and you are stuck without them. You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about when it comes to regulations. You just want to support your fascist EU masters.
Wages are stagnant, but we have no inflation, so no worries!
Oh yeah, groceries have really gone up in price, but they don't count! Gas is lower than it was four years ago, but that was a historical high, and the current price is still high, but not record high, so that's ok!
I used to alpha and beta test Ubuntu releases. It can be fun, especially if you have a spare computer with nothing critical on it. I did help find some issues back in the day, that got fixed before release. It felt good. If you have any skills, it can be a cool experience to try.
As soon as they started deleting or hiding tweets, posts, etc, they became publishers.

The internet was a lot of fun, guys. Sadly, it's been taken over and you will only be allowed to view government-approved content in the future.
https://www.reddit.com/r/law/c... for a great rundown.

That's why I keep my passwords on a sticky note on my monitor! Never trust the cloud!

How will CNN and MSNBC get around this ban?

Is there a way to know if I'm affected by the breach? I'm assuming I am, as I use Yahoo Mail.
Don't. Just leave. Or better yet, "train" him to royally screw up.
It's only ~37,500,000 people who will lose their jobs! /s
Anything that the media bigwigs don't like (ie anything not Leftist) will now be censored. Thank you for your cooperation.

The guys directly responsible for Gnome and systemd will be IBM employees very shortly. This will be interesting.
I didn't know there were legal 3rd party iOS phone makers. Care to link some? If they aren't, I wouldn't be surprised when updates brick the phone.
How great would it be if they had Straczynki write Eps 7 to 9? And didn't let that moron Kennedy fiddle with anything?
The EU is a fascist state. Their bureacrats just don't wear military uniforms anymore.
Have fun not being able to buy a ton of products or even visit many internet sites (likely including Slashdot). But at least your data will be safe!

Yep. Whoever decided that Firefox needed to be forever in Chrome's footsteps should be kicked out of all open source.
I think you mean Red Hat is cancer. They are doing their damnedest to force all other Linux distros to bow to their crap ideas.
