    When the military gets over 1/3 of the US budget, $500K would seem like a disposable number. To everybody else, it sounds like they're talking about things as a dictator's wife would speak of shoes.

    And doesn't space in the orbital regions around the planet already have a catastrophic amount of space junk as it is? Pretty soon any craft leaving Earth is going to have to be heavily (and I do mean heavily) armoured just to get out or into orbit. How will that make things cheaper and better in the long run?

    Oh and to reply to myself, just to add: crappy quality photos taken with a camera phone of some scene you impulsively thought that your 'friends' on FB or twitter would somehow consider "to die for", does not count as creating. That's just aiding others in their wasted act of consumption..

    Chrome does in fact ask me when I try to download potentially unsafe file formats (in my case, DMG files =) ), prompting me whether to keep or discard. Smoke and mirrors, and the same old FUD..

    So dropping support for 1.3 I understand (EOL etc), but fixing 2.2 event though it isn't reported as vulnerable? which is it?

    Quicktime plugin w/ embedded streaming was broken thanks to the unsolicited Firefox 6 'security' upgrade. First week of classes and lecture videos stop working. Thanks Mozilla. Now we have one more reason to recommend Chrome or Safari..
