btw... a friend mine has a 94' Civic, only slightly modified (Intake, exhaust, some other stuff) on the way down to Miami he stayed at a constant 55 mph. He figured out his average gas milage to be right at 51mpg. Not bad.
It's not entrapment, and that's not even a really good analogy, and that's coming from a guy who breaks at the very least 3-4 laws a day....

p.s. if you leave the doors unlocked & the keys in the ignition, the person stealing your car cannot be charged with GTA, this happened to me when I was 17 or so. I stopped at a friends house and turned my car off but left the keys inside, and when I came back my car was gone. The cops found the guy who stole it but they couldn't charge him with GTA because I had left the keys in the car.
That was the way I felt when I installed Lycoris for the first time because all the hardware just worked. The software that came with was (almost)perfectly suited for a desktop.
That being said. I'm sure OS X is even cooler, and I can't wait to try it out.
My Neon could be a _lot_ more fuel efficient than it is. It's rated 28Mpg hwy, but I've never seen it (and I bought it new). I like my car, but a fuel effiecient compact it isn't.
..if stores like Wal-Mart & MediaPlay don't back these "damaged" goods, Best Buy could go quietly the way of the Dodo. I see one hell of an ad-campaign for thier competitors.
I've only been using Linux for a year or so. I installed Lycoris on a work PC just to try it out, and was very impressed. I could see where anyone with some Windows experience could get used to that distro pretty quickly.
I have a VIA onbord chipset, and yes, it sucks. I've actually put my old AWE 64 back into my computer rather than listen to the computer version of Rice Krispies.
I'm pissed off about this, I recently checked my P.O. box & within 3 days I have recieved more junkmail than I normally get in a month. The mail is from companies that I have never done business with like "Rooms to Go" & banks I have never heard of. This happened within a month of Yahoo changing my preferences (I changed them back the same day, within 6 hours). I have a small P.O. box and I don't like the idea of recieving junk mail when I might have to go back up to the Post Office to pick up mail I need, i.e. my mailbox being to full to stick stuff in. Has anyone else noticed this?
Yeah, I like that quote too.The funny thing is Gateway is basically making an online example of how downloading & burning music can be completely legal. That spits right in the face of everything that the RIAA has been saying. But of course truth is now misinformation. Was this a written statement or could she really keep a straight face while saying this outloud?
The problem with that is that they usually have BSA Goons/Federal Marshalls with them.

Please tell me how you would get fdisk.exe to remove an NTFS partition? I've always had to use delpart.

not the same, we're talking about a car here, there isn't many places you can put a car (safely) except in streets, parking lots & garages.

the Republicans & the Democrats....

Thanks for the info, I usually just wait a month or 2 between rolls and drink lots of OJ.

You are absolutley right, mod parent up.

I'm pretty sure 16 is the age of consent (with parents permission) in a lot of states, including Florida.
btw.. did you know if you are married you can legally drink (at your home) no matter what your age?
and I agree that most 18 yr olds I've met are incredibly naive (I'm 25)

Hearing stuff like that makes me very sad to live in the US.

That's actually OSHA state law in Florida, even though most companies won't go out of there way to tell you...

Heh, my 99's head gasket went at 92K miles. At least it's fast, right?

Even better, this could show the layman that the GPL can have an impotant uses in science and engineering.

Good point
