    Every example you gave of unions doing well are *localized* jobs that can't be outsourced.

    Your "best practices / poorly written software" argument is just plain out silly. IT is about flexibility.

    Seems like I've heard similar horror stories of people losing their domains because they asked someone to make an offer.

    Seeing as if he (McCain) somehow manages to get elected, I give his remaining lifespan a duration somewhere between James Garfield & William Harrison's presidencies. The good news is we'll have our first woman president. The bad news is she has experience leading about 670000 people total (9000 if you just want to go by her mayoral experience), is rabidly pro-life & loves Big Oil. It will be kinda like Bush, but with a vagina.

    And don't bother to rail on me either, I'm voting for Barr. I've given up on the Republicrats, the only thing that will make our leaders stand up & take notice is another political party coming to power & taking it away from them.

    Disclaimer: I live in a very rural area, YMMV.

    It took me all of 20 minutes from the time I stepped out of my car, to cranking it back up & leaving when I voted during the last election cycle.

    I've been buying the votes (for cheap) of my non-voting friends. I really don't care if they vote for who I ask them to, as long as they get off their ass & go to the polls.

    Are they including their OnDemand (or whatever it's called, I don't have Comcast) service in that total? I can see how that could possibly add up to effect a "normal" non-geek user.

    Also, is that a combined upload & download total?

    I don't think that's exactly what they are talking about. I'm thinking more of games like Hellgate or that asian MMORPG / Shooter GUN, where you have to pay to get better gear than the *normal* players.
