    Well, with shoddiness, its easy to hide corruption. Given what we know now, how confident can you be that your last elections were not rigged? Or the ones before that? Come on, somebody has GOT to care that the whole country has very possibly been taken for a ride.

    the site says "play games without any change to the source code"... and then the summary says "cider enhanced games are scheduled to appear"...aren't those two contradictory? Why won't cider work with games right here, right now?

Sorry, but my privacy and control over what gets installed on my machine is more important than a browser war. Please do not make that mistake Firefox. I like you a lot, but not more than my privacy and freedom of choice.

    Didn't you hear? It's all part of the new iLife 2006 Suite - others are iToast, iFry, iMelt. Apple acknowledged this in a press release titled iKnow.

    Now, if only they could get compaitbility for DirectX and NVIDIA chipset/graphics drivers, I'd switch immediately. Honestly, I'm seriously LOOKING for something, ANYTHING, other than Windows that is open source, but that will let me play games.

    I just simply do not enter valid information. If they wanted valid information, there are enough ways of getting it. The more information a site asks for, the more I make sure that the responses I give are false. If a site only wants say, my date of birth, I might give my real date. If it wants my postal address, telephone number, yada yada without just cause...I will give them wrong info. Its my way of discouraging the use of such techniques. Maybe if enough people do it, then the next time they upgrade their site they will ask only for information that they absolutely need to have instead of every little detail.

    Maybe they DO have a trained bat in there, but have replaced the tennis ball launcher with a chain gun that fires explosive rounds! All of a sudden..."mysterious" makes sense. They don't know how the bat does it :)
