    also, they are not the first to think about this. back in the athlon xp days i thought of a "hairbrush" like heatsink with many tiny copper strands
    however, heat transfer from sink base to each "fiber" is relatively weak

    why not copy stuff to its storage and maybe save some wireless bandwidth?

    don't confuse the format, which is an abstract description, with the medium, which is a physical item, susceptible to physical damage.

    but yeah, if the medium can't carry the abstraction through time, it's no good.
