Java has some new ide's for free that seem to produce web pages (I'm not exactly sure what java flavor). They look really slick, and have me thinking about switching to java from php.

I use film, but have to say I'm very impressed with the 8 megapixel dslr cameras.

It also depends on the film speed. 50 iso film is much better than 400 iso. The Digital SLR I find works better with higher film speeds than I could get with film.

There is "image data"in the film grain. It gives film a certain look. I scan at 4000 dpi using a minota scanner and then use "grain surgery" to remove grain to get a more smooth image (noise reduction for film basically).

6x4.5 (medium format) is still better that most digital cameras except the very expensive ones.

For crying out loud. Ipods sound great, as good as any portible audio device I've owned. I listen with good headphones too. Much better the the "walkman" casette players I've owned.

If your an "audiofile" then listen to lossless or a cd or even better "VYNL RECORDS".

The whole point of portable MP3 is to carry as many songs in as small a space. If people wanted perfect CD quality in a portable package they'd buy mini-disc. But they didn't. However people want good->excellent quality and small files.

In all seriousness. I would just enforce "header" comments to a particular style (javadoc..etc). The rest is up to the individual programmer.

The trouble as pointed out earlier is that programmers/code reveiwer have to be always be updating comments as the code gets updated. This doesn't always happen and is the caused me personally some problems as I took the comment to be right, when clearly they were not. I use comments as a guide now.

You have a good point though.. the sony is more expensive than the digital rebel xt and can't change lenses. Although it has 2 more megapixels..but that matters little.
