No longer are we using the "spirit" of the law, we are arguing about the "letter" of the law.
So if you are caught drinking and driving, you get a lawyer to argue some obscure point of law to get you off.
But you WERE drinkng and driving, and therefore breaking the spirit of the law.
Lawyers have created a huge industry which does nothing but split hairs. And they profit from it.
Damn it, if you break the law you SHOULD be held accountable!
How would you be able to tell a difference between an "advertisement" that contained nothing but a picture of a womans face and a woman sitting still on a park bench, say... reading or something?

The number of people that actually USE their mind is depressingly low. Most people simply watch some talking head spew an opinion, then adopt that as there own, because "he is famous". Most people have an opinion based on the last person who talked to them.
