But with the Horse Armor, you are getting a full featured game, with an add-on. If you decide not to buy this, you aren't really missing out on that much. I think the microtransactions are a great way of allowing you to add small items, but the game should be dependant on them.
The $50 will work out to a lot less when you factor in all the other tasks related to the job, like getting on site, and book keeping. Not to mention, lining up these $50 an hour jobs will take time too And you need to be able to save for the slow times. They $30 sysadmin doesn't need to worry about that either
It's not just the level of quality. It's the sheer amount of work necessary. I know in this school board they are understaffed. It's hard to get a board to realize they need to spend more money on something that hasn't been in the budget for years
My point was: You don't HAVE to buy the HDTV. The 360 will take advantage of that. The Wii will not. You gain something if you have the 360 and the HDTV. If you have the Wii, you don't get that gain
You don't have to shell out for the speakers or the TV. It will work fine on a normal TV. It won't look as pretty without the HDTV, but conversely, the Wii won't look as pretty even if you do have an HDTV
The component cables are pretty hard to mess up. The three video cables come bundled and the audio cables are in a separate bundle, so they don't look that similar. Also, most people who will be hooking up with component cables are probably using the fiber optic cable to hook it to there receiver, for surround sound
I agree. Well games maybe nice, I don't think that these processors would be advancing as fast as they do without business driving their need. I am much more worried about the speed of my SQL server then the speed of my home computer. Damn...I am getting old and boring
Then, provided you keep all your documents in clearly defined locations
I hope by clearly defined locations you mean on a network drive. This is important, not just because it makes it easier to replace your computer, but because a lot of companies don't backup PC's. That's my Public Service Annoucement for the day
It's nice to see there will be a bunch of new features added. Most of them do look quite helpful. I just wish they would support DIVX. I guess this would only encourage copywrite infringement or something.
I am a big fan of the 13" screen. Maybe because my eyes are still good...but I want a notebook to be small. Portability is foremost for me, then come other things
When I was in school, I worked for staples selling computers. They gave us no training whatsoever, so if you didn't know about them on your own, you really weren't going to be very helpful. They didn't pay much, just enough for kids in school who needed the cash...definetly not enough to care. If you did a good job, nobody noticed...the only thing they cared about was if you sold an extended warranty, and tried to sell them extra products. You can't really expect someone to be knowledgable, if they aren't paid enough to care, and their is no incentive.
Actually, the driving games have matured a lot too. The AI has improved a lot, you aren't restricted to driving in a lane, the cars actually understeer and oversteer depending ond drivetrain and power, and analog controls make a huge difference (previously only available at an arcade)
The university may pay them because they are good researchers, but some take the teaching part seriously too. You don't have to do things because you are forced to, sometimes you do them because you want to.
You might not play $5 on a $400 console. I probably wouldn't either. But most of these games are going into homes with families. I know my parent's computer is an email/solitaire machine. If I lived at home, I am sure my mom would be happy to play these games on a big screen
Super Puzzle fighter was an amazing game. We wasted countless hours playing this in university. My only warning was it can get pretty competitive, and cause a fight:P

if I am not paying, I count it as free. I don't care who has to pay for it
Currently Skype is free to regular phones from your PC, in North America. This is a promtion untill the end of the year

I use transcode360 too, it just would be nice if you could do stuff like fastforward, and if you din't need MCE on your PC

You could sell it for $5 if you want. You would still be on the hook with blockbuster for the rest of the money you owed for the game
I am a big fan of the 13" screen. Maybe because my eyes are still good...but I want a notebook to be small. Portability is foremost for me, then come other things
I fail to see where I was trying to do business.
It must have been your article, AC...nobody else would bother to defend it
The article is an example of what happens when people who have know business thinking decide to become writers

I have found any we have gotten in the last couple of years have been really quiet. The older ones were terrible though
I find it one of my favourite tools for working on computers...linux or other

I would think it's more for if you want to bring your garage from a racing game over

Was there any surprises that she could do more damage to a car?
