The facts: Comcast advertises unlimited throughput. (not Bandwidth which is different.) The consumer has a reasonable expectation of unlimited throughput. (not Bandwidth which is different.) The Internet of today takes up far more bandwidth than the Internet you're used to. DSL does not share bandwidth with neighbors. Cable internet does.
I need that much bandwidth AND throughput.
Bandwidth is how much data the line can handled at any given moment. At current, for comcast, it's 20Mbit downstream / 1.5Mbit upstream. here are some more Facts.
I have a RIGHT to download Linux distributions which are often more than 4GB. I have a RIGHT to download games from steam and direct2drive which are more than 4GB. I have a RIGHT to stream videos from youtube, stage6, metacafe, and netflix. I have a RIGHT to download game demos from fileplanet which are usually more than 1GB.
I use the Internet 24 hours a day. I have a queue of game demos and whatever else I want to download that day. Your family not being able to get any bandwidth is not my fault. Users do not control bandwidth. The ISP does. If you're not getting your fair share, it's their fault.
quit your whining and realize that you're not getting your fair share because you're not assertive enough to use your service for such needs.
If you are too damn lazy or too stupid to type your language properly, then you shouldn't be a programmer. Become an insurance adjuster or something less demanding.
I don't think I'd like to hire someone who can't spell. It shows volumes about you.

if you simply must have it, editplus has syntax highlighting and offers spellchecking dictionaries.
The difference is that the NSA has a back door into all major operating systems. They don't need to crack in.
This sort of issue could be fixed if the Pentagon switched from using windows based systems to using SELinux systems with mandatory smart card access.
Remember, there are 2 levels of privilege above administrator in windows, and there are 3 backdoor keys into windows. Microsoft's, the NSA's and who knows who has the third?
This guy is currently producing metallica. I don't think metallica has earned the right to make another album in this digital age of music. Some have said it: albums vs. singles (that most prefer singles over albums) This is not true. We all prefer albums. It's just that so few modern albums are worth buying in their entirety.
The only 2 albums I have purchased in the past 10 years have both been Paul McCartney. My favorite albums of the 21st century so far is "Chaos And Creation In The Backyard". That's not to say that I don't like any other modern music, but what albums produced in this new century are worth listening to every song on it?
He and I share similar musical tastes. I love the Beatles and never liked the Stones. One producer, however, will not change the industry.
it's not about proof of ownership. These snares are for people they already suspect of stealing from their local stores. Say, the guy works at walmart. the store suspects he's stealing stuff but can't prove it. The FBI comes in and taps his ebay account. They nail him for wire fraud for selling stolen items on ebay. They know he didn't buy 24 9" color tv/weather radios because the store is cooperating with the FBI also.
I agree this could be abused, however, the FBI doesn't really care about you selling your power ranger collection.
it's funny you should say that. I'm a certified Linux admin. I'm one of "today's linux users". I am not afraid of the command line. All my servers are installed without an X server. What I am afraid of is a cryptic "no screens found" error from xorg. This happens way too often. When you install display drivers, this can happen despite seemingly doing everything right. I'm stunned it took this long to get failsafe X server support.
It's a multi-billion dollar industry. You're fucking with their profits. You're fucking with my hobby. You need to be sued into the stone-age. You tried to sue the Florida bar for taking away your license. You have no honor, integrity or ethics.
You can hide behind your moral compass all you like. It's leading you into the circus ring. Soon we can all laugh at the clown in the center ring.
I think some shitty Fab is to blame for these batteries popping.
3 years ago, you rarely heard of batteries popping.
lest we forget the markets flooded with cheap aftermarket chargers?
He also created hemorrhoids.
we're not complaining about the RST packets.
we're complaining about the FORGERY part.
It's a violation of the computer fraud and abuse act.
I feel bad for you and your family. I really do.

Calling it a "virtual" anything is just a buzzword for the subcents.
It's a collaboration suite.

it's the closest they'll ever get to being a jedi.
and yet I don't think it would be a problem for modern software or hardware.
how much computing resources did they have in the late 70's at nasa?
less than my desktop PC has now.
My paypal account was hacked on that day and there were fraudulent charges placed.
any connection?
Is it really that impossible to run these machines inside an emulator on a modern server?
I can still play my atari 2600 games on my xbox.

I would like to appeal my ownership of Microsoft.
If SCO can convince a court that they own UNIX, then I can convince a court that I own Microsoft.
I once decided that I owned Microsoft.
Can I get a second?
but I agree with everything else you said.
I'll be paying for my mercedes in bandwidth. Ok sir, that will be 600GB. Here you go.
the article approval process now takes days instead of minutes like it used to.
There are so many people submitting articles that we miss everything and read about it a few days later.
not that I'm complaining, because they're irrelevant now, but I have 2 articles that are pending since June 3rd.
They need to hire more editors.
Walk over and pull the plug!
Now see what's stored!
Stupid Judges and their ignorance.
Data is no more "stored" in RAM than light is "stored" in a bulb.
Science tells us that data currently in RAM is ultra-temporary and in a lot of cases prone to error.
the rural broadband crisis as its called is fixed very easily. Build more infrastructure.
This is still why broadband costs so much in the U.S.
This is why 100Mbit lines are so cheap in europe. Go to Sweden and get a 100Mbit line there for less than my 20Mbit cable.
This is one turd I hope to avoid at the box office.
I just reset the modem and that resolves it.
My AUP makes no mention of throughput limits.
This isn't going to fly much longer. With youtube and game demos and steam, we need the bandwidth and the throughput.
This is just like health insurance companies who don't pay benefits.
Comcast sells unlimited usage but doesn't want to actually honor that.
Breach of contract class action?
