the w3 disagrees. They picked *space*/> because it conforms to both XML and SGML, upon which HTML is based. If your validator flunks it, then your validator is in error, at least according to spec.
I couldn't agree more. I couldn't give a fvck if people can read my site or not in its intended form. I use graceful degradation to build up my pages. That reminds me.. I need to split the case out between css 1 and 2 with a non-broken trick I once learned. You use a CSS2 Include statement to grab the really tricky CSS code into your page. Works like a charm, and protects you from the.3% of your users who still use NS4.77..
Using css tags vs. font tags allows for graceful degradation of a webpage. This is what lets one read my website on a palm pilot or cell phone. Repeat after me: lack of deprecated tags is a GOODNESS.
Tabbed browsing is not an MDI. An MDI is a window space specifically designed for sub-windows of possibly differing sizes. Tabbed browsing is just layering the same information over the same space to save on interface elements.
You can't view two Mozilla pages side-by-side unless they are in different windows, which is possible with MDI within the same window.
The mulitple workspaces hack under OS X is just that -- a hack. It just hides apps selectively. You can't have an IE window on two different desktops, because hiding is at an application level.
Do it. Then I'll not only not record television, I'll stop watching it entirely. PVR changed my life. If you ask me to change back It's going to hurt YOU.
Last week I bought an Ultimate TV unit (I know, boo hiss M$, whatever..) and I paid 45 dollars for it, as well as picking up a second unit for upstairs. Well, I got the thing home and called for an install. It turns out that I need a multiplexor ($100) to lock the LNBs of the dish into odd and even transponders and then portion out the signal as needed. Well, I also noticed that all the rebates relied on that second box being activated, but, get this, you have to keep both boxes on for a year to get the rebate, otherwise they'd charge you about $150 (twice the rebate). So I'm taking the second machine back (because it would cost me the whole amount of the $60 rebate in 5/mo fees)
Why is this relevant? It's the same as that.mac shit. They say you are getting this and that, and what do you get? You still get the shaft down the line. I don't use my mac.com anything right now because I have too many 'free' email accounts, as well as my personal server. I don't need the features, so I'll continue to let.mac sit and rot.
Also, one might wish to check out the AVSforum HTPC section for more information on HTPC. The 8000DV does come reccomended, and one could even use the technology to back scale (with DScaler, open source, free, and better than $40,000 equipment) HDTV sources to NTSC, though I'd wonder why you'd do such a thing.
I wonder the same things sometimes. I was going to post something to the queue, then I realised that anything you post means nothing and they only accept things from this anonymous coward guy, whoever he is.
Even funnier was bestbuy.com saying the playstation 2 is at $199, and underneath a picture of the XBox and a link saying BUY IT TODAY which also linked to the XBox.
I honestly think that it wasn't an oversight, and was a case of collusion between the box stores and msft. Only two stores advertised 200 for XBox and 300 for PS2, Best Buy and Circuit shitty. For two weeks.
I was thinking about going with Penn Telecom for phone service and Speakeasy DSL for connectivity. I really can't see paying Annoying Tired and Twisted for anything. I know Verizon and ATT chage like $120 to sign up, and I'm going to see when penntele.com charges. I'd rather go with CLEC, since it is our competitive environment..
Sounds more like Moonwalker and smooth criminal. I doubt the delivery was the same, though. I also doubt there was a fight in a billiard parlor between gangsters with flapper girls dancing about.
Rockstar has a game called "State of Emergency" which may suit some of those needs. From what I've heard, it's not as good as GTA3, but it's not entirely crap either.
I really like TeXShop. It's quite a complete app and a good example of how good free software can be. The only thing it doesn't support yet is spaces in.tex filenames. It does, however, make great pdf files!
his slicked super-hero hair. That was always the most absurd part of the books and movies. How does he fix his hair up that quick? And where do his clothes go when he changes?

He started of the demonstration with, "Great news, everybody!"

The people who die in hurricanes, typhones, mudslides, droughts, tornadoes, and so forth may disagree with you.
Except it's hard to disagree with someone when you are dead.

And here I thought big brother summed it up nicely in this case.
Just send them to go out and pick up a pack of razor head replacements. It suddenly becomes apparent what they mean when they say 'blade'

Well, the 15" FP iMacs have a mic in their monitors so, yes, it should have a mic.
Wow, how did he do that? That seems impossible to me!

Dishonest. No surprises there.

Frye: What's your name?
Bender: Bender.
Frye: What do you do?
Bender: I'm a bender, I bend things!

They are getting divorced, just so you know. Apparently, she's become one of those born again shee^H^H^H^Hchristians.
The ~ are normal on a blank document. They show that a line is past the EOF.
So the fact that there is a different tax rate and different things are taxed in every state is a central system? That's what you call unified?
