    Lots of real programming is done with a purely graphical blocks and lines style programming. Labview is one of the more popular ones that does some incredibly sophisticated and complicated programs as well as lots of simple "control this voltage output with this dial" type apps. You could also turn this into a whole "is scripting really programming" debates, but I don't think anyone wants to go there.

    It's common practice for companies to hire head hunting firms on retainer just so they won't poach their staff, even if they never use them for head hunting services. It's been this way since the 90's.

    Um, using ICT test points for JTAG is standard operating procedure. And 100% the repair lab has an ICT fixture for repairing/troubleshooting the boards. With ICT you could even use the un-tented VIAs, which again is standard procedure for modern DFT practices.

    The next generation game consoles will support 3D TV's. I suspect that much like the PS3 driving bluray adoption whatever format the winning console chooses will be the new 3D TV format of choice.

    People forget but real HDTV's came out more than 9 years ago. In the start there wasn't any HD content to watch either; just upconverted DVD's. But now every one I know has a HDTV set.

    How is that different from the programmers, artists, engineers who worked on that game? Did they hire homeless hobos off the street to program it? Did they hire university graduates with years of experience? How about the guy who did the motion capture? Or the "model" they did the face textures from?

    most places that have pre-paid calling have this wonderful feature called "calling party pays". So of that 500 minutes, how much was people calling you and how much was you calling other people?

    The system in north america is a fixed racket. The comfortable oligarchy of the cell service providers means they have no incentive to offer anything of the sort.
