I was under the impression that VMs couldn't be created with Player either, so I built one in Workstation at the office, copied it to a flash drive, took it home where I installed the newest version of Player, and copied the VM to that machine.
But in the process of playing around with VMware Player, I did see an option for creating new virtual machines. Didn't explore any further, but it seems the new version does support not just playing, but building.
The first time I had ever seen Sasha Grey was in The Girlfriend Experience. She was awful, probably ruined the film (if it wasn't the writers who ruined it first). Anyway, it was a complete snooze fest. Also who hires a pron star to play a prostitute and has her keep her clothes on for 99% of the film?
It's actually a 360 back to where they were with PalmOS. Well, almost a 360, before anyone could distribute a Palm app from any site, not a URL generated by Palm themselves.
Now if we could just get an unlocked, quad-band GSM phone running webOS, I'd pick one up to replace my aging Treo650.

When they were digging through the supplies which came from Earth, there were Ancient crates right there too. So not only have they not looked all over the ship, but they've not even opened boxes which they've seen.

The ship has been flying a lot longer than the Ancients planned. That's because they learned to ascend, and never ended up using the ship.
No speculation, I submitted this story also, with a quote from Google's Blog:
Because we spend a lot of time working to make the overall web experience better for users, we think that video compression technology should be a part of the web platform. To that end, we're happy to announce today that we've signed a deal to acquire On2 Technologies, a leading creator of high-quality video compression technology.
So it doesn't remain to be seen whether Google's acquisition of On2 has any bearing on their plans for video on the Web.
I used to get Inca Kola when I lived in Florida in 1996. Then it was sweetened with sugar. I've found it here and there over the years since Coca-Cola bought them. The stuff you find now in the US it bottled in New Jersey and made with HFCS; just isn't the same.
But yes, it tastes like original flavor bubble gum.
I mean I have a fridge full of Red Bull's Simply Cola. If they pull it from the market I'll be upset. It doesn't taste like Coke or Pepsi at all, it's a really complex flavor.
Sony has also removed SACD support from the newer models.
Not a big deal since the overlap of SACD listeners and game players is probably me. But I'm very happy to own a 60 GB model, I just hope that when (not if) it breaks Sony can repair it and I can keep my 99% compatibility and the multi-channel PCM output of my SACDs over HDMI (my old SACD player would only output SACD over the 5.1 analog jacks).
Which MPEG4? I'd say that VC-1 (WMV9) is superior to ASP, but indeed prefer AVC to WMV.
As for my complaints about how the Roku currently stands. It only supports DHCP, there's no way to statically configure an IP. While HD support is promised right now it is limited to 480i/p. It does support an anamorphic mode, but that distorts the UI, and actually decreases the available resolution of non-widescreen content (it sends black pillar bars to the left and right of the squashed 4:3 picture which is then stretched to 16:9).

That may not be entirely true. Have a look at this:

No. Mersenne primes are numbers which fit into the 2^n-1, but not every 2^n-1 is prime. Try, 2^4-1 = 15
Quite often though, when 2^n-1 is prime for the same n, 2^n+1 is also prime, but not always.

Because it's not in PR. There's some augmented reality in Virtual Light, but the geo tagged, art work is in Spook Country.

It also has real kola nut in it. I really like the stuff and will be upset if I can't get my fix in the US.
Linux on the PS3 has access to 6 of the 7 SPUs. It does not have direct access to the GPU, only a frame buffer.
I even have Idle set to NO, but still this showed up. Ug.
Then he can sell it on eBay as A++++++++++++++
Um, their killing their old OS in favor of the one which runs on the Pre.
The larger zip VMware image has Firefox 2.0 included. The summary means that the the way is clear for an up-to-date Firefox.
Installed zip image.
ssh is included.
What else do you need?

Yes, AMD's Stream technology. I don't think it is used as much as CUDA in practice.
zgrep is actually part of the gzip package rather than an extension to grep. It performs "gunzip -c | grep" behind the scenes.
Backticks don't nest, so I've moved to the newer $(...) construct.
The patched firmware was only to extract the volume key from the disc. Those are easy enough to find from other sources.
