It doesn't matter if this article is true or not but the point it reaches is a fact!
Are there any organizations that could raise up money to get computers and internet connections over there? People need to open and expand their minds there because you don't want anybody to fall back to being lied to by some fanatics!
You can't give everybody there a computer but you can definately open series of internet cafes in central locations. Is that really that expensive? The cost for that is a lot lower then the cost of fanatics running around destrying buildings and killing people!
I've got online with the help of an Organization that raised funds in that way (Soros foundation for an Open Society) while I was living in Romania and it helped me more then anything ever did.
The access to real and true information is the ultimate in personal improvement!
People in poor countries get online usually in internet cafes since the price of a cheap computer, dialup and local telephone charges could hit their budget to the point where they couldn't afford food.
Start out with a technical entry level position in a company that has more work then people. (i.e. HelDesk or Tech Support for ISPs)
To start out avoid with any chance major corporation.
Don't run home every day at 5 and don't give up on anything. Get used to not having too much time left for your personal life, most people can't do that.
Show you can use the available technology to make your work easier and more profitable (Build scripts,...) in addition to your day to day tasks.
If you have good technical knowledge and are able to code most stuff in Perl and shell scripts avoid getting expensive and mostly useless certifications.
If you will stick out you will STICK OUT and eventualy became a system administrator and maybe more.
This would be the best solution for highly populated areas and "in area" calling.
For example on New Years eve 2001 I've been unable to place a call because to many people were using the local cells, and this technology would have allowed me to do it.
I don't see it as a technology very efective in rural areas or highways, and having current providers upgrade to this system won't happen.
This technology could create new local networks where instead of you having to pay for air time, you could just get away by buying a renewable encryption key.
To determine what a solution for a problem is you need to analyze all it's failures.
These are the issues we need to consider:
1. Enemy has strong inteligence
2. Enemy does not care if he dies
3. Enemy has financial support
4. Enemy might be able to operate without central leadership
This all proves that our enemy is brainwashed and that's where we need to focus because a brainwashed person does not have too much sense of reality until you start showing him what is real.
The Taliban made the internet illegal and the reason why is because they want to keep their own people in the dark.
- If you can just take over TV and Radio systems in the Taliban controlled countries and show people what reality is, you might be able to enlighten them.
- If we go on a killing spree there will be no benefit, they will retaliate even worse, and they will never be able to accept reality as it is, for generations!
"I can tell because when you read a webpage, you do one of a couple of things. You either shovel the mouse off to the right so that it is out of the way, or you will walk down the page with your mouse,"
What would a circular motion of the mouse mean? Is my mouse dirty? Maybe they could automaticaly send some mouse cleaning consultant over.
For once the biggest connection speed you will ever get with 56K is 54K because of carrier regulations.
2nd, if you live in an area like mine the fastest connection speed you get is 26K which is annoying and the carrier (in this case Qwest) does not assume responsibilty of their crappy lines.
Wouldn't you think that it would be nice, if the first areas that they would think about, when installing DSL equipment, should be the areas with the worst analog connection speeds?
A complete ban of embryo research would just keep the research underground, which would create exactly what everybody is afraid of:
- Unregulated research &
- Powerfull knowledge in the wrong hands
The decoding software has been developed and distributed in Russia.
The person responsible for breaking the law is whoever imported (or downloaded) the software into the US but that person is impssible to identify so lets throw everything on Dmitry Sklyarov's head and have his company sink some money.

How do you know if your keystrokes are not being recorder right now? Not like anybody has seen all the windows code yet....
Recording keystrokes could be a fantastic marketing tool.

"Cafes had popped up all over"
I think this will answer your question!

Give me a break. When are they going to actually make a new Star Wars like the original. Creative, futuristic, ... .
The last Star Wars was way under my expectations and I've had a lot of people agreeing with me.
Hopefully this will not be another star wars clone because this one is attacking.

Hope this helps!
1. Unreliable connections experienced on Cable. (frequent disconnects)
2. Connection speeds lower then modem speed when connecting to server hosted on modem bandwidth.
3. Cable does not play my favorite song on connecting.
4. Cable security is low. (People can actually hack in my computer without having to wait)
- Cable is haunted by big nasty ghosts
Dump your broadband! Use MODEM!

I recieved some pictures from a friend and they are the most detailed and clear that I've seen so far so I added them onto my site:

They are paying good for Russia plus the living expenses in Russia are low but being paid good money doesn't always guarantee a good living.
I'm getting 5 f*****g days of vacation a year and the cost of living is huge. Do you see the balance there?
Am I in a sweatshop?
Let me guess.
You were supposed to manage a dot com that didn't fail because of too many spendings!?!?

I hate my 56K!
Hopefully nobody is going to come to the idea of taxing spy satellites because they move and change their orbit.
Is the A/C functional?

ATI needs to take their head out of their asses and work with Microsoft instead of work against them. NVidia will power XBOX graphics.
ATI has already driver problems with windows 2000.
I own a ATI Radeon 64MB and DVD acceleration is not supported in windows 2000 even though it works in 95,98, and ME.
Because you're not living in the matrix.

Maybe people that don't posses these abilities are unable to have fun playing games.
What fun would it be playing a game if you can't concentrate on it or be coordinated?
All parameters are variables based on environment.
