    It's hard to change your government when outside forces keep interfering. examples are : big corporations paying warlords (with weapons) in exchange for mining rights; foreign governments placing people in government and supplying them with money/weapons ...

    Why would people be shocked about this? meat is meat. We eat cow, pig, horse(on this side of the pond that is), chicken, ... and why wouldn't we eat cat or dog, or in this case neanderthal ? People would then start to object about how cats, dogs (or neaderthal) are much 'smarter' animals. Truth be said, we're not that much smarter than all those animals. And if they say we have feelings, I say : those animals have too.

    Excuse me ? If the EU doesn't interfere, fishstocks would be in seriously trouble in less than 5 years. It's in the fishermen own best interest to not overfish. I don't see farmers delibratly destroying their own lands. Fishermen do.

    There is something terribly wrong with your reasoning: Halliburton, Enron and Total have only 1 objective: their bottom line. That's not true for greenpeace : they want to inspire people to leave this world in a better state than how they got it. The peoples need and the nations need are what define them; in case of Halliburton : their only thing that define them are their shareholders pocket.
