SU is great! it can install SO much without bogging down the system. if you have ever used WindowsUpdate, you will know what i mean. it basically monopolizes the *whole* system
what suburb are you from?!? i have called 911 a few times recently in Philly, to report accidents i've seen, and got charged NO usage fees. we pay a tax to fund the 911 system. there is no way some people people would call 911 vs simply driving to the ER for *most* cases, if $250 is at stake.
apple does not *make* new CRTs for their towers. they do sell them, however. through the accessories section of their store, you can buy a Mitsubishi 17" or 22" CRT.
you pay for premium channels, to keep ads off them. nobody in their right mind will pay for a movie channel with commercials when there are other FREE ones that show movies (tnt, tbs, usa, etc)
keep in mind that you (assuming you are an American Taxpayer) own the airwaves (IIRC). The radio and TV airwaves are publicly owned by the taxpayers. think about this the next time they are screwing you.
it is nice and small. i wonder how loud it is? it could come in handy if it is quiet (stealing corporate secrets, a pic of that hot girl across the street, etc, etc)
keep price in mind too. i'm sure there are competitive apps for the PC, but do you need to buy them? will they be fully compatible with windows? how about that weird printer you have? will they require a sepereate install?
Cost of 15" LCD Monitor: $250
Cost of 40x12x48 speed CD-RW drive: $80
80gb hard drive: $80
512MB of PC2100 DDR: $100
Athlon XP 1800+ 1533MHz processor: $99
Having a Computer that actually looks good , and an OS with a good GUI: Priceless
Here's my idea....convince micro$oft to put gnutella & DeCSS links on their page...They're all about innovation, so they won't refuse. Wait for the three-way heavyweight legal battle of the century, sit back and laugh during the 20 year court battles that ensue

actually the cube did NOT have on-board video. Due to size limitations, not every AGP card could fit in it. i believe it came with a Radeon Card

its time for a cocoa-ized version of cyberdog
of course, ClearChannel just bought 40 new Apple Xserve's, so as much as I hate them, I can never completely hate them
thats outlook express you're thinking of
sweet.....it was itching for an update, but it is truely a great computer
"hey steve...........NICE RACK!"
"Boy, I'd sure like a Beowulf Cluster of these"
"looks like it might make a nice mp3 server"
the $1000 price increase also includes a 2nd 1gHz G4. they failed to mention that the first one is single proc.
well you bastards got to see the real version of Eyes Wide Shut, so its payback time .......not that i don't have an .mpeg of that scene anyway ;-)
