Ultima is one of my favorite series of all-time and that is what made Ultima 9 one of the worst games ever. Ultima V - Lazarus was a great remake of one of the best Ultima games ever using the dungeon siege engine. I would love to see what could happen with say the Diablo 3 engine.

  5. Re:Wing Commander on Which Game Series Would You Reboot? · · Score: 1

I think that the problem with any any flight simulator is that no one owns a joystick anymore. The last few space sims that anyone tried to sell like DarkStar One used a mouse an keyboard interface that just didn't really feel like flying. I loved Wing Commander like anyone else back in 1995 (except for the epic load times for missions in WC3), but I don't think we will see anymore true space flight sims anytime soon again.

Sadly, consoles with their little thumb sticks may be our best bet.

The Judge is always the judge/decider on the law.

The Judge will instruct the jury as to the law, and the jury then decides if the facts of the case fit into that law. The judge in this case decided that fair use in the case did not apply as a matter of law. That is the right of the judge. Now whether or not that will hold up on appeal is another story.

What I thought was neat about them is while most people would get to the rooms via the cheat code map teleport, there were also crate stacking points to teleport to the room without cheat. Although, there was no way to know about them without someone telling you about them.

I think the main problem with this is the fact that we are worried about arresting the driver, not necessarily the owner of the car. Once the car has left the sight of the police, all we know is the owner of the car.

No. The more likely answer is that these cops were lazy. Getting warrants are a pain in the ass, for the Judge, the ADAs, and the cops. If cops think that have a reason for a search without a warrant, they will not get a warrant unless it is REALLY important. Otherwise, they will just let the ADAs and the court figure it out later. Besides, it is not like this was a settled issue with the courts, even with this ruling.
