Reality check: there will always be dictators, despots, thugs and abusers, which means there will always be those who are imprisoned, whether physically, mentally, spiritually, intellectually or otherwise.
While I am truly, deeply saddened by all the atrocities in the world (Afghanistan, Bosnia, Rwanda, USA), I refuse to feel "imprisoned" 24/7 because of it.
I have only one life to live, and I will not subject myself to continual self-flagellation simply because there are repressed peoples in the world.
There will always be those who are repressed. We certainly must do what we can to help them be free, but as I said, if you want to be depressed about it every day for the rest of your life, help yourself. I choose to enjoy my freedom and my life.

So here I am posting. I found some funny things about an IP ban:
1.) I have 3 accounts, one with negative karma (this one), another with 0 karma (posts at +1) and one with 32 karma (posts at +2). This account and the 0 karma account couldn't post, but the 32 karma account could.
2.) They only ban the IP address, not the accounts, obviously, because here I am posting with a new IP address. How fucking stupid and ineffective.
3.) I've been Trolling and crap-flooding with this account for a couple of weeks now without incident. I make one post criticizing SlashCode and I get banned. Fucking Nazis.
Yeah, open, uncensored discussion, moderated only by the users. What a load of horseshit.
I continue to be astounded at the responses that something like this gets. Just look at the morons that replied.
I was thinking of replying right away (I saw it right after it was posted) to say something like, "Wow, that Troll was really obvious! [I didn't know it was 4 years old] You don't expect anyone to actually fall for it, do you?"
But I thought better of it, and I decided to wait. Now, just look at the idiotic responses to an absolutely obvious Troll.

If someone can accept the idea that God created everything less than 10,000 years ago, why is it so hard to believe that He left 'clues' to make it look like everything is 10,000,000,000 years old? He could have created the Universe in place, with the outer reaches 10 billion light years away.
