  1. You know what, instead of worry about 3 batteries (left, right, phone) I bet they could get it up to 5 if they really tried. And make sure they die after 2 years and are proprietary and direct soldered. THAT is what intelligent buyers really want.

  2. what a coincidence on EU Tells Internet Archive That Much Of Its Site Is 'Terrorist Content' (techdirt.com) · · Score: 0, Troll

Much of the EU's population is terrorist content too and they don't seem overly concerned with that. Start with acid and truck attacks first, THEN maybe whine about the internet archive.

  3. Sorry, I have enough subscription services right now and the whole point of cancelling cable was to stop paying tons of money per month so I'll pass, as will everyone else who's not rich or unbelievably irresponsible with their money. Dead on arrival.

  6. I didn't know magnets can detect math errors causes by not knowing how gravity and space really work? Need I remind everyone that no dark matter has ever ACTUALLY been detected in any way, shape, or form (pun intended)

  7. Just in time on Trump Administration Dims Rule On Energy Efficient Lightbulbs (npr.org) · · Score: 1

They pushed CFLs just in time for mass production of the mercury-containing, dangerous voltage-using disasters to get into everyone's homes and now we have around twice as efficient of safe LEDs. Great job, guys. I don't think we need a law to accelerate demand since 80W incandescent vs like 12W LED for the same light in a three bulb kitchen fixture for example saves noticeable money. Plus, the wavelength looks more modern and makes your house look decades less old.

  8. the real solution on Dream Market, the Top Dark Web Marketplace, Will Shut Down Next Month (zdnet.com) · · Score: 2, Interesting

I was shocked to hear that people were sending the drugs Fedex, USPS, and UPS like it was ebay or something. When I asked online why they can't just put drug sniffing dogs in all USPS mail hubs, everyone said it's unreasonable search and seizure. That sounds ridiculous to me. If a cop looks in the window of your car and see a pile of drugs, they don't need your permissions or a warrant to "search" it at that point. The same goes for sniffing drug residue off the OUTSIDE of a box and then opening it. That would instantly solve the entire problem because without a shipping carrier, there is no dark web drug sales. Why are they not doing this?!?!

  10. Trump still think it's caused by karma or bad luck or mexicans or something that isn't climate change.

  11. If you've got warrants and rent a scooter and police have to chase you while you're trying to evade them on it, you'll be internet-famous in about 3 seconds. That's definitely cruel and unusual punishment. This is clearly not constitutional.

  15. Anyone claiming to have this should get down to a healthy weight, exercise for 30+ minutes 3 times per week, improve your diet, and get 8 hours of sleep at a regular time then see if you still think you have it.

  16. It's not a loophole. It's considered an unauthorized cover of the song and with most music labels, that means they can't claim it but you're not allowed to put any ads on it at all. You can go to the youtube audio library, look up the name of a song, and it will tell you the rules about directly using and doing a cover of it.

  18. It's an insanely amplified, ultra short wavelength RF used. So yes, it causes cancer and is ionizing. You don't need a study, this is already well known by science.

  19. I dunnon if you noticed or not but she also can't act for shit. They could have replaced her with the inflatable autopilot from the movie Airplane and he would have shown more emotion and delivered the lines better.

  24. Itunes - DRM and you can do next to nothing with your purchase and it's not transferable and if your hard drive dies, it doesn't exactly work like Steam. CDs - rip to MP3 and do anything, bring them anywhere, you have a physical backup, and any device can use them. It's an obvious choice.
