Does anyone have actual numbers on subscriptions to Office 365 vs amount of customers who simply bought Office 2013 outright? I would bet that OS licensing would be 5x less popular than even those pathetic office subscription numbers.
Let's break it down. You pay for the OS forever so Office 2003 for example would have cost you over $2000 per seat by now. BUT WAIT it's worth it because you get free mandatory updates to your product so you have to re-test all your corporate software every single time they release an OS so it costs EVEN MORE money! What a great deal! Paying 10x more for software plus upgrades you never wanted. And I'm sure it's simple to buy a computer from Dell or HP with no windows license when you replace your actively subscribed PCs with new hardware. MS is a big fan of OEMs selling OS-less computers.
They can't even get basic computer use or hacking correct in a $200 million movie. How are they going to accurately represent software programming in a cartoon? The computer will probably beep every time she types like some 90's movie.
Oh btw, forget Apple TV. Try deciding to stop using iTunes and bring your purchased music and videos and your Apple ipod over to another store/software platform. Oh wait...
If you're not aware of the level of performance of current self-driving cars, let me break it down for you. They can't stop for construction or understand rerouting from it or obey temporary signs. They can't see stoplight colors while the sun is setting anywhere near behind them. They can't drive on snow at all. They will slam on the brakes for a piece of newspaper blowing across the road or other low density objects. They think puddles are obstructions and will slam on the brakes.
They're basically deathtraps on wheels and they don't work at all plus they're illegal in several states.
Everyone in America at this point knows if it says Apple, don't get into it in the first place. It's like a black hole. Once you're inside, you're stuck and that's that.
How can you buy something that isn't a thing anymore? Office Depot and OfficeMax merged. Did they only buy half the newly merged company? Did they cancel the merger? Is Staples buying both companies?
