  1. WRONG! on Tumblr Co-Founder: Apple's Software Is In a Nosedive · · Score: 2, Interesting

"Apple's hardware today is amazing — it has never been better."
BULLSHIT! from 2007 to 2009 they were #1 in least failures in laptops. Now they're beat by ASUS, Toshiba, MSI, Samsung, and Sony. They're 6th place in quality! SIXTH! Guess which place they are in price vs speed. I'll give you a hint: Fujitsu and Avatar beat them.

  2. technology! on Netflix Denies There Was a Policy Change With VPNs · · Score: 1, Insightful

It's almost as if VPN providers didn't build their services to stream 200GB of bandwidth per month for some jackass paying $9.99 and would ban those types of bandwidth hogs from their service. You know, back in reality they do that. In fantasy land, apparently EVERYONE is using VPNs and proxies to stream perfect quality HD content and it's an epidemic.

So besides that, it SERIOUSLY should be illegal to pay these ransoms. All they have to do is pass a law that says you can't hand money over to criminals or terrorists or whoever they might be and selfish people like this wouldn't pay the ransoms. If nobody pays, they stop doing it! So anyone who gets hit by this should realize they're morons who should have had a backup and shouldn't click links in clearly fake e-mails and they'll just have to deal with the consequences.

There are zero good, classic-style turn-based RPGs like the Exile and Avernum series. Seriously, ZERO! I was as shocked as you were. There's an ungodly expensive Final Fantasy version for Android but that's not really old enough to be "classic." I'm talking like Dragon Warrior and other dungeon crawl and mission RPGs.

I thought climbing too quickly stalls an engine. Why would climbing slowly in denser air that can run the engines better cause it to stall? Any pilots know what they're talking about? (or do they mean it was going too slow while climbing as opposed to climbing at too low of a rate).

  11. netbooks 2.0 on Is the Tablet Market In Outright Collapse? Data Suggests Yes · · Score: 1

Remember when everyone bought netbooks because they thought they could run their entire life off a single core atom equivilant to a late model pentium 3 and 1GB of RAM on a 10" screen with a failure rate double that of budget laptops? Then they realized that wasn't realistic and they all ended up in pawn shops. Tablets are netbooks with no keyboard. I am so glad people are finally realizing it. I guess smart watches will crash in 2 years as well, although I think even right now nobody wants one.

Maybe they should have found everyone using hacks and cheats in console games and make their Xboxes melt. Then that would be something. At my company we have a nickname for people who make $10,000 a month and have $5,000 of it go to their 5000 sq ft mansion. They're "poor people living in a big house." Why the hell do people spend that much money on a house? If I won $200,000,000 in the powerball, I'd buy a 3000 sq ft house. Then I'd spend the rest on awesome stuff. Who the hell wants a giant house like that? Plus, that's how NFL players keep going broke. You know if you make it to the NFL or make Minecraft that you're making a ton of money ONCE. Like one and done, surprise you're poor. I'd hoard that money like crazy and budget it out over 100 years. What and idiot.

To anyone about to say real estate is an investment, go look at his electric bill, cleaning bill, and property taxes.
