If the John Oliver show is anything to go by, it would seem that the average American actually has very little idea (if any) who Snowden actually is, or even what he did. Many seem to think he's related to Wikileaks.
I agree, btsync has been great, syncing between my Linux computers, making remote backups of my parent's Windows computers (My Documents), as well as syncing photos between our phones and tablet. Personally I'm not entirely happy that it's not open source (I know they say it's private but heck... are you really ever sure?), so I'd probably make the switch when someone comes out with an open source alternative. In the meantime however, I'm really happy with it!
From the screenshot it looks like one has to have IE installed in order to choose which browser you want, as the choice is web based?! Does this still mean that while one "gets a choice", IE is still always installed?
The grass is always greener on the other side. I moved to New Zealand 3 years ago from the Netherlands, and this is now the third continent I have lived on. I moved here to get away from the busy lifestyle, the economic pressure and materialistic mentality. The general Kiwi youth attitude is that they all need to go either to Australia or the UK because it's so much better there. The funny thing is they are generally the same ones who have never in their life left the islands, so they actually have nothing to compare it to other than Holywood on TV.
The only reason they think it's all better is because they have a cousin or friend who did the same and is earning "big bucks" in comparison. It has nothing to do with lifestyle, and even more amusing is they almost all come back after several years;-)
I don't think it does very much though ~ looks more like one big welded robot model with a few hydraulics. Would be interesting to actually see it "in action".
Or just the person managing Fox news who descides to publicly announce his first cousin's Florida "winning" of the presedential election before the "actual" counting had even finished.
It really surprises me what some guys do... I mean what is the practical advantage of this? Just to proove what exactly? Now, if they were to use the same system to get instant cold beer.. now that's something we can all use, but to work with a freezer on your desk....
Who cares if it compares to IE in any way? Is that what you base everything on... how it compares to Windows applications? I mean seriously, Mozilla offers so much more then IE. We are talking about a multi-patform browser here, so what would us Linux users care if it "should" be integrated with M$N and Lookout.
I personally feel stronger towards Mozilla because it hasn't intergrated any of that crap. What would you like it to do, wipe your ass too?
You wanna step into my word, it's such psycotic state of bliss.... you wanna talk to me - so talk to me, you wanna talk to me - so talk to me... (you ain't been mind-fucked yet).
Yes, it's always people like this who just enjoy getting a kick outta ruining it for everyone. So are you happy? Maybe there is an office job for him at the RIAA... seems he has so many similarities with them...
Maybe try another desktop manager. Gnome and KDE have become bloated, and with the help of Nautilus, it becomes unbearable:-( I switched to Window Maker... and wow, logs in within 2 seconds, instead of the usual 15 for Gnome

So now the East Africans will have the ability to be virtual pirates too!
Ahh cummon, someone had to say it ;-)
