Why not offer to help fix computers for something in return? I often ask for dinner, personally, as I don't really cook. No one really considers this an imposition, the other person usually considers it underpayment.
Make yourself a CD book with some common repair tools, and get to work. Not only is it a great way to socialize, but free food is always a good thing!
While I think it's great that some students got the new signed version for free, perhaps you should keep in mind that it was only one class. The rest of the school has to buy a new edition at the rather hefty price of $159.95.
It wouldn't be too much of a stretch to say Sedra will be making quite a tidy sum from this, especially as it is now the required course text for ECE 241.
To the best of my knowledge (which, admittedly, isn't that much), the latest theory that is supported by Stephen Hawking is that the grain of sand would be sucked into the black hole, then the transformed into energy, and then emitted in the form of radiation.
They are using this theory to try and explain the excess of background radiation that exists in the Universe. It also raises an interesting issue: How can anything escape the gravitational pull of the black hole, if light itself cannot penetrate the event horizon?
I mean, if I'm checking for emails, and I'm surfing the web ... that doesn't leave me an ability to do work!
I always claimed Microsoft was impacting my performance at work in the past ... but even for me this is taking it a bit far ...
Actually, if you've ever seen how some of the strippers can pick up the coins (i.e. with what part of her body), I don't think you'd mind so much...
Well, of course, that's your opinion.

So why are we celebrating that IBM is using new hype words to motivate its workers?
Because it's our hype word. Duh =)
Nothing like a sucky sequel to weed out the unbelievers.
So, Episode I kept people praising Yoda?
What're you talking about? When this story is posted tomorrow, I'm sure the links will be there ;)
He lives in Canada. He lost $20,000 to taxes !!!
You've obviously never worked at a Ford plant.
I'd be shocked if the IT department could even figure out how to type 'fuckgeneralmotors.com' into their address bar. But, hey, I'm not bitter. No...
