Thing is, your right. My brother's a contractor that works on the Hubble servicing missions, and just was informed on Friday that all future servicing missions have been canceled.
Only when they're salaried. If you're paid by the hour, you're expect to work for the number of hours you're paid.

No WMA for HP iPod

HP product that rejected WMA

You mean the blue iPod? HP isn't doing ANY develpment on it, they're just having apple add an HP logoa and change the color, and reselling it. No development.
The big problem with people not buying LEGOs doesn't have to do with the crazy parts (although I'm sure thats part of it), it has to do with the price. One of the little bags of like 15 peices goes for around $5, whle the big lego AT-AT is $100. This sort fo stuff cost maybe a 1/3 that when i was in LEGO using age (15 years ago). They just aren't a good value anymore.
Usually. Its called extradition, and if I remember correctly, dept. of State basically makes a request to the country where the person has fled, and either tells state to sod off, or has the person arrested and handed over to the embassy, where the suspect is sent back to await trail. More often than not, the country complies, because it care more about its trade arrangements than an individual accused of crimes.
You're really not thinking about them right. They aren't some super secret spy agency. They're one freaking huge bureaucracy like every other government agency. They have some very powerful tech (look up their supercomputer building on google).
They do, however, take espionage very seriously. If this guy did actually work at NSA, he'd have had to sign one of those dreaded Pre Pub Review, which means he'd have gone to jail simply for not running anything he published by the security office at NSA, wether it had to do with national security or cooking recipes.
Having had an internship there after high school, I can tell you that most of what was in that book was full of crap. Do you think if it was accurate that the auther would have a) been allowed to publish it or b) be out of jail now?
Being an economic history major, I will happily argue that the economic rent of British taxes had nothing to do with the revolutionary war. If anything, America was making a profit off being a colony.
And how is being cheap bad? Why would I pay for a new one if I can talk somebody making $6.25 an hour who doesn't care about the company he works for out of a new one?
Right, but to encode with it uses way more juice than some of the inferior ones to play them. If I can get double battery life to have songs with a slight (and I do mean slight) hit in quality, I'm all over it.
Can you still get in? I know it was public accessible when i had an internship there years ago, but I thought it was inaccessible after the security lock-downs after 9-11.
Ok, first a nitpick: There is no os 9.5. You've got 9.2 and then skips up to 10.
But really, try OS X. Complaining about the awkwardness of OS 9 (and hell yeah, contextual menus were useless). kind of like complaining about Windows 98 or KDE 1.0.
Right, but it IS legal for me to have the cd he copied for me. Which is what downloaders are doing.

Just like automatic windows let me roll down the window in the back seat while driving, or stop my kid from doing it (window lock)?
Right, but the high speeds where it starts to matter are in excess of a hundred miles an hour, +/- a bit based on the shape of the car.

The guy really was a crack pot.

I don't know anybody that bought loki games either. People usually just play their games on their win boxes or their consoles.
Maybe you need to get a new set of skills that in demand here.

Now, the principles behind it are another issue.
Having a broader feature set isn't the same thing as having better quality.

Well, you can hose you Dock preferences (com.apple.dock in your Library), or take a dive into your process viewer to see if tis actually running.

They've all gotten a lot better since then.
Easy answer is to it the hardware way. Pick up a video to VGA box. Makes it so you computer doesn't even need to be on when playing games.
And this is different from every other company how?
I'd answer, but I'm busy working on a documentary in Final Cut.
Nitpicky, but I thought the Mayans were the first to use the number 0.
You know the meaning of FUD, right? Just because something is wrong OR unverified, doesn't make it FUD.
Trinty dies??? Damn you!
