    State your assumptions. I agree that there are very likely innocents at Gitmo, but statistical analysis requires stated parameters. Otherwise, it's just making stuff up with math.

    I've got a suggestion. Use the show as a starting point for your own reasoning and thought experiments, and get your own airplane. And TV show.

    I loved playing King of the Hill in that circular arena, where the "hill" was a stripe across the diameter. Grab the biggest weapon you spawn near, get to the stripe, and run back and forth blasting anybody you can see. Die. Repeat.

    That was The Zone for me. I'd stop thinking, and just play. That was good, good times.

    You also might suggest to the copy editors that they take a look at the word usage of "stationery" on the first pic on the second page. They get it right farther down.

    OK, so how far do the microwaves from a microwave oven penetrate the skin, and screw up pacemakers?

    I understand what the brochure SAYS, but what it says doesn't make sense. What stops the microwave?

    It sounds like they weren't even willing to answer intelligent questions about the specifications. If the spec is no good, the product will be no good.

    For whatever it's worth, it hasn't happened yet. All of the firmware updates for iPods have been optional.

    Potential issue? Yes. Actual issue? Not so much.

    Amazing. The rumors about what may come out next renders what DOES come out unimpressive. What a staggering revelation. I wonder if this is why Jobs wishes to contain the rumor mill?

    Come on. You listened to the rumors. You know the track record of the rumor mongers. You drew the wrong conclusions. What did you expect? Matter transmission? Wireless power delivery? Get some perspective.
