My wife bought a Ford Freestyle about a year ago. It replaced a 2wd F150 that got 14mpg or so in her daily driving; now she gets around 20 in mixed driving. Has a CVT in it - kinda weird to not have it shift.

Anyways, my point is that I always tease her that it's a station wagon. If you squint your eyes just right, you can see the lineage there. It's got a fold down seat in the back - shame it doesn't have one facing the wrong way with a roll down rear window! But - it's definitely more utilitarian than our truck ever was, since it allows her to store things inside the vehicle.

We used the truck maybe twice in four years for our own uses; other friends borrowed the truck countless times. It just comes down to what you need.....

I've had weak fuel pumps show the same symptoms. If I went around a corner in my first car (88 cavalier) without more than 1/4 tank, it would sputter and die. No holes in the fuel pickup, just an almost-out-of-spec fuel pressure coming from the pump. I can only think that it was on it's last legs.

It died within a few months of this first happening; new fuel pump cleared it all up.

I saw that this was released on their website - and to be honest, didn't know it was out for PC and Xbox360. I knew there was the Xbox version, but anyways... I downloaded the dmo and played it for a little bit.

It seems like there are a lot of inventory items that I picked up that I just don't remember what they all do. My mind kind of gets messy like that in Final Fantasy games too, so I guess I shouldn't let that get me down. However, the game seems pretty solid. Running at 1680x1050 gets a little stuttery on a 8800gt 512mb / core2duo 6600, oddly enough, but it doesn't detract from the game (mostly when cutscenes do full screen motion, like the intro.)

I must say I will probably buy this game, if only because of the humor involved. Normally this isn't my kind of game, but if you appreciate the humor that Penny Arcade puts into their comics, you'll be laughing as you play this game. Especially when you throw an orange to the FFrs. If there's more than one, while the one "hits it" the other one says something like "let me hit that" :)

Actually, the problem I'm witnessing personally at work is that when one gets promoted within the same department, it isn't as clean of a break from the old job responsibilities as you might think. If the people who are doing your old job don't step up - and you're still in the same general area (even if your title/job duties change) - the old stuff comes with you, and it's your responsibility to make sure others grasp your job.

Granted, I am not complaining, as sometimes there's really no other way to do this. However, my personal grumble is that the others don't truly seem like they have the time - or the initiative - to step up as I did......

But they still complain about not being promoted. I can lead a horse to water with the best of them, though...

And that's kind of what this is all about, in a weird way. The majority of money made from an album is directed towards the people who are not involved in "creating" the music; however much they may be involved in marketing or producing or shipping or mixing/developing the sound on the disc. Wal-mart is not looking to cut the mere pennies away from the artist - they're trying to push to have the other charges lessened through more efficient methods.

Of course, Wal-mart doesn't necessarily have to care how it's done; they just know it can be.

Remember - water doesn't like to compress like air does, so it will take up more space when compressed than the air will. Upon the same bore/stroke of compression, the more water pumped in, the higher you stack the compression.
