What good is a weapon you don't have access to? I'm going to build a super scary stockpile of weapons and then burry them in someone else's back yard???? I sure better trust them a whole lot, or at the least they better be too far from me to turn around and use my weaponds to hurt me.
Double appologies for replying to your sig, but why would anyone think a batman cap confers the ability to fly? I mean, batman himself couldn't fly....
It is my understanding (most likely wrong) that Netscape 7.5 will be based on Mozilla 1.4. I further understand that 7.5 will be the last Netscape release. Now, keeping in mind that the shift in development direction only applies to releases after 1.4 my guess would be that Netscape/AOL couldn't possibly care any less what Mozilla decides to do after the 1.4 release.
It seems like you are comparing apples and oranges. Gnome apps will only run where Gnome libraries are installed as well. Also, you do need libraries installed to run GTK and QT apps....
The direct comparison would be QT apps to GTK apps. In that case, the main GTK advantage is that GTK is free on all platforms.
Surely you see that you've just totally eliminated the need for any online connectivity.
Chess is a two player game. Your model has both players controlled locally. So what we have is a local chess application. We sure can't make any of those without TCPA!
About the only benefit I can see is you can be sure that the high scores sent to the central server are have not be tampered with....
Ok, yes I'm sure that by the time I viewed this article at least 20 other people have posted the same stupid comment about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's mentor....
It still was the first thing I thought of though....
I think the idea was that USB would replace PS/2 (IE no more PS/2 connectors). In which case you can go out and purchase all the PS/2 keyboards you like, but in preschool they taught me the circle does not go in the rectangle....
An OS *IS* a kernel. Everything else is simply a program which runs on that OS.
The kernel makes no distinction between a command shell, LS, or your little Hello World program you wrote 3 years ago.
They all make use of the same system call architecture to do the tasks which they do.
You can call it a system if you like, but to say that somehow Bash and LS are part of the OS is just not born out by the actual implementation of the system....

Woooow
That was a instant classic! That made my day.
LOL
Because your system using a different offset for HD numbering. Its not confusing really, but it is a bit disconcerting for lack of a better word....

How about some write support???
So I guess this whole directional shift was not an April Fools Day prank?
I must say I still don't fully understand the extent of XUL usage in the new platform.

You have to assume this is not lossy compression.
:)
I would not do to have random letters missing from your html text...
Wellllll, random bits, probably. Which would lead to some funky looking text.
I did.
As did many others.
Still have yet to find a more satisfying Linux distro.
Although, the KDE world is finally starting to catch up with enhancements offered way back then by Corel.

Assuming this somehow worked.
Does this mean if the satelite goes unaligned somehow I could be cooked alive during my morning jog?
Goodness man....
You insult the man's grammar and then make a simple grammatical error yourself!
Honestly, grammar Nazi's are silly....
Or if they are too slow, how about the NR series?
Ok, I admit I only care cause I have one of them....
Any chance of porting this to 68k?
Ok, yes I'm sure that by the time I viewed this article at least 20 other people have posted the same stupid comment about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's mentor....

Does this mean the bug database is running on DB/2? If so, how will this not cause religious problems akin to the Bitkeeper issues?
Considering Vanessa Williams is both a dethroned Miss America, and a singer/actress, I do think you are probably wrong.
And the diffrence between decimal 7 and Hex 7 would be???????
No no!
;)
It was the EULA was on prime display at your local center at Alpha Century....
What you've never been there?
Well then I have no sympathy for you!
Worthless apathetic users....
I don't know what standard hardware a MAC has, but maybe he has one of those....

Might they be opposed to it because the GPL is genuenly a bad choice for publicly funded code?
I mean, coporations pay taxes too. They pay a large portion to the tax burden. They deserve access to the fruits of their tax dollars as well....
Try to look at this objectively.
LOL
I nearly choked to death when I opened that link.
You are right. Penquins can be found surprisingly far north, up the African coast....
Bull!
