    This isn't supposed to compete in price against a honda civic or aerostar minivan because it is for an entirely different market.

    It is circumventable... Just like DRM. The difference is that that it does not interfere with the legal use cases of a normal user, while DRM does.

    Yes actually it is. A good water mark does nothing to disturb any legal use case. And if it is done well, it does not noticeably degrade the quality of the image/video.

    Sorry, but no. Recording audio of a person without their knowledge or consent is legally considered illegal wiretapping in many states.

    I am busy making sure that these servers that transmit data to hundreds of millions of people keep going no matter what kind of pounding it takes or how drenched in fluid it becomes, just like the chicks in the videos that the servers are transmitting.

    You also need to make sure to bolt the damn tank down. Fuel and air are more buoyant than water or mud. More than a few flooded gas stations have suffered damage only because the tanked popped out of the ground.

    Why is it not ok to share something that the original creator wants you to share? Because it cuts into the market for crap that people don't want you to share?

    Is it wrong for me to give away open source software like open office, mysql or linux? Just because it devalues ms office, oracle db, or mac os x?

    Mac users can also still install from outside the app store, of course so can windows users. But it is entirely possible, and indeed likely that one or both of them will go app store only, so they get a continuous revenue stream without having to develop anything new or innovate.

    SSD's are not revolutionary. They are older than spinning magnetic disks, it just took them a lot longer to increase in speed and capacity compared to the first few generations of magnetic disks.
