i have 2 iphones and 2 ipads which my kids also use the oldest one knows not to do any in app purchasing and there it asks for a password every time you buy something. not only that you have to tap the area that says spend this much for so much coins or new level or whatever. apple makes sure the devs are clear. and there is always an email about something being purchased
do some parenting next time
this is like a kids in the 80's ordering porn and other pay per view and telling their parents that they had no idea they did it
if demographics is any guide, the republican areas are the most sparsely populated parts of the state and should have been the first ones to be closed. and the ones in the more populated areas left open
some of us aren't dumb enough to spend all that money for a thermostat. just weatherproof your home to keep the hot and cold air in depending on the season and don't worry about the avalanche of data or running your heater or AC before you get home
let's see in the 80's when soldiers would get paid in cash or real paper checks they would get robbed outside the army base gates on their way to the bank. direct deposit solved that issue
used to be that people kept cash at home. but if your home burns down or you are robbed or whatever, you lose all your money. with CC's you dispute charges and don't lose a dime
yes i've heard of two kids held back in kindergarten i don't know about flyover country, but here in NY, kindergarten is now what first or second grade used to be when i went to school. my first grade older son is doing some work that i didn't do until third grade
not really lots of towns in the northeast with public schools that are better than almost private school in the USA. of course these towns have property taxes which in some cases cost more than a lot of people earn in a year.
if you look at the newsweek or us news annual high school rankings, a big percentage are in NY, NJ and Connecticut. California has a lot and a few other liberal areas are represented as well. the red states with their low tax ideals have very few good schools
the point is to take students who's parents care from bad schools and put them in an environment where they can get a decent education. the rest will end up in their crappy neighborhood school where the parents don't care about checking their homework and will be passed and graduated just to get rid of them. if their parents don't care there is nothing the school can do
the good public schools already attract parents who want the best for their kids
maybe if they only rebroadcast to a TV, but doing it to devices well outside the tech limit of broadcasting will probably get them shutdown at the minimum they will probably have to shut the DVR service down
yep i remember when multi PC families started popping up. today you only need once per family and the rest are smartphones and tablets the PC makers missed the boat
my prediction for 2014 to 2016 apple comes out with a somewhat cheap A7 powered laptop in the $300 to $500 range sort of like a chromebook
most of the cost of a computer goes to intel and MS. once you trade those out for cheaper parts you can make yourself it fairly easy to make a nice profit
as long as it has a 500GB hard drive, its enough for close to 90% of the people out there
expect the different manufacturers to merge or dump their PC business onto others until we have Apple and one or two other companies to make laptops and desktops
but you can't write science based on hearsay. so many of these tribal people have legends and old wives tales that are so far removed from the original truth they are based on
imagine an apple employee working via VPN and downloading new code to their home computer and then share it to the world accidentally. or any company working on a new product. or hipaa data
in these cases there should be a virtual desktop solution or some application front end to do work. my wife has access to some outside of VPN apps to do work with HIPAA data
most car deaths in the USA happen around the big holidays and weekends. times when people are drinking and driving and probably driving late at night and tired
if the drunks buy the self driving cars, then it will reduce deaths. but then by law they still have to stay alert to take over
go read some of the real detailed history books like An Army at Dawn or Day of Battle the US was very close to losing WW2. the germans had better training, weapons, equipment, etc. they started too many wars and couldn't support them all and the ability of the US to replace losses is what did germany in. your chance of surviving the entire war in a combat unit were almost zero. the us officer corps was so bad that they sent units into battles where entire divisions were destroyed and the ability to replace the dead soldiers is what enabled units to keep on fighting
the system is not perfect, but it would be a lot worse if we allowed one person to have to much power and make too many decisions without input from stakeholders

the signal will go that distance, the trick is having a receiver sensitive enough to pick it up

i've found that if i drink the supersize starbucks coffees its the opposite effect. the small size coffees are just right
So it would be no problem for the courts to rule that they should lock out customers in a market that want to watch tv in that market
maybe if they only rebroadcast to a TV, but doing it to devices well outside the tech limit of broadcasting will probably get them shutdown

Pages on ipad is not slow and painful. not even on my ipad 2
only if you're one of the crazy people who are doing everything in the browser
yep

apple is the lexus/acura of the PC market
its essentially the same thing as the cheaper product with a few bells and whistles then can charge $$$ for
my prediction for 2014 to 2016

double and triple spending the same coins
they will know every time i take the train too

and how is this different from every other time in this nation's history?
