    this is not a school yard
    samsung borrowed lots of money to build high tech flash memory factories. they can play hardball with apple, but they need to have a customer lined up to buy up whatever apple doesn't. unused capacity means lost revenue while salaries and interest on the debt still has to be paid

    you don't pay for the actual labor time
    there are standards that say how much time it takes to complete a task in fixing a car. you pay by the number of hours in the book

    technically, they weren't searching his home or vehicle, they were simply trying to triangulate his location to make an arrest based on other evidence already collected

    the FBI had multiple court orders and warrants. the perp is saying that the wording of their warrant did not allow the use of a stingray device

    rule #1 of criminal law. if you can't fight the evidence then fight to have it excluded from the case. they already had lots of other evidence that he was a scumbag and were only trying to figure out who he was and where he lived

    Houston has 2 sports teams that i know of

    google's fiber channel list has no HBO and no expensive sports packages. I bet houston has a lot more sports fans than austin.

    and the spanish language stations seem to be missing a few big names

    it says google uses grass fed beef which my wife buys at $7 a pound. good guess is that the rest of the ingredients are organic or similar quality. add in labor and the other costs of running a cafateria and $10 per meal is a good estimate

    the kinect was originally made up by an israeli defense contractor
    they pitched it to apple first but didn't want to sign NDA's and agreements not to pitch it to anyone else even if apple refused it
    MS loved it and took it on to develop it further

    there are dashboard mounts and bluetooth headsets to stay within the bounds of the law

    you don't need a law to address every possible function of a smartphone in a car. either you can use it hands free or not

    i have even though i rarely use my phone other than to listen to music in my car
    with voice turn by turn navigation why even check the map on your phone yourself?

    Dropbox will always be there and is backed up
