    from what i have read the game is always online because every city is part of the simcountry or whatever. every city will be affected by events in other players' cities

    If you have an Apple TV it's easy to view it on your TV
    There are even streaming services set up to let you pay and stream porn on your iPhone and apple tv

    back when i was in the army i worked in the command group of a 2 star general. i was in the office down the hall and next to the chief of staff. when they needed computer help i saw their email. it was the most boring crap you can imagine.

    DVD, blu ray, 3G/lte and lots of other standards are patent pools
    You donate your patents and agree on a small royalty for anyone who wants to use them

    Straight Talk you can buy almost any unlocked GSM phone and get a ST sim and use it on the carrier

    do you really need every point update of android? what does it give you?

    there are android phones out there where the manufacturer/carrier will update it to the latest version for a year or more

    in NYC so many people have wifi that i get better performance with cat5. i got tired of my xbox disconnecting from Live and started using Cat5 instead.

    i have something like 20 hot spots around me. 5GHz will be nice for a few years until everyone gets on it as well.

    happens in ever industry
    in the early 1900's there were dozens of car companies

    cell service is a commodity, its about the same everywhere in the USA. no need for 20 companies like we had in the 90's. i remember those days, they sucked. cell phone service ridiculously expensive back in 2001

    verizon bought alltel a few years back
    the US government identified 70-80 markets where verizon would hold a monopoly and told them they couldn't have them
    these markets and customers were put into a new company whose ticker symbol is ATNI
    AT&T is now buying these customers

    verizon had to sell off a lot of alltel markets and AT&T bought them up

    the interest is tax deductible making it like free money

    why pay employees from your bank account when you can borrow short term, pay the low interest, deduct interest from your taxes and just roll the notes over into new notes every year or so?

    retail companies do this to pay for the product you see on the shelves during the holidays

    and its also good for use peons since the money goes into money market accounts and back to the regular folk. not like banks are lending their own money either

    PC's as a market segment are losing money

    Intel spent a few years hiding in its margins. PC components have a higher dollar profit than mobile ones. but few people are buying the traditional type of computer these days and so the costs of R&D/Production and other costs outweigh the profits

    you get your jobs but you also get to poison you body through the pollution it creates. everyone wants these jobs in the USA, but no one wants them close to where they live.

    not sure if the x-box ever lost that much money

    that division had a few other things as well that were proven money losers. the x-box had the best attach rate for games for many years now
