    Why we need gov to gurantee our life? Why we are not allowed to make our own decision on our life? Why we can not get the information to make these decisions? Why the gov say is always correct?

    I do not see any reason we share the same idea on the plannet. Why giving out a false prediction is crime? We should not make the news a trust worthy source of information, that is against the nature against the society. We need to teach our citizen that all news could be false.

    We need responsible citizen not ants.

    We need to further develope our capability to spread life to SPACE.

    The computer system is a virtual simulation or abstract of the real world.

    There are many differents between them, and there are no way to sync them.

    If we are careful in reason mind, to use the computing system in the way it is designed, and stop trusting it when it is not working in designed condition, then we are safe.

    However, we have developed a cultural that we use the computer system without thinking its limit, without reasonable doubt. Too much trust there.

    The same abstraction difficulty happens all over the development, there are too many short cuts, clever hacks that make the computer system not represent the real world correctly, but all were not documented, no body even the developer known about it.

    All computer systems have such a fatal error waiting. Even you build in a safety device in the computer language will not solve the problem.

    There are constantly supply of XO in ebay. This machine deserve a better treatement.

    The whole I.T. industrial is modeling. The computing world is a model of the real world. One can not map the whole world in their computer world, that some kinds of simplification is needed.

    How much detail is enough? No body ever answer that, and no one care.

    Y2K is just Y2K. how long does a time representation is enough? How big should the address pointer?

    Is anybody care about that? The whole industrial is based on assumption: this is enough and it turn out the actual answer is NO.

    Starting from the beginning of our education, we demonistration all such unthinking simplification of the representation of the real world. And the whole industrial does not take a second through of how these simplification were causing us.

    Every people write system requirement just boost their specification from time to time. No body really get those cut-off points into the specification. No efforts ever put to identification where we have made a simplification which may cause our arms or legs when time come.

    The whole computing education and education should rethink this modeling issue.

    I did not against the idea that we need to protect our environment.

    I against that people did not use their brain on this. People take the idea as if and retold the story without thinking.

    Why there are no legislation that people only can drink water instead of sodia is just time. Why we allow such laws pass is signal of a very ill society.

    Using more money to go GREEN is against my common sense. STOP that, use our brain, do things correctly, not just follow others.

    Do not use an language you do not use to teach the kids.

    Teach them the way you do programming. It will be fun enough if they can produce programs to solve their own problems.

    Doing web related or net related projects were fun enough I suppose.
