Rho Cas, as it is often referred to, is visible to skywatchers in the Northern Hemisphere who have dark sky conditions away from city lights, prompting the astronomers to suggest that amateurs might spot the next explosion.
But then they go on to say: An eruption would pose no danger to Earth, and in fact would likely be spotted only by seasoned skywatchers who know how to navigate the sea of stars surrounding the relatively dim Rho Cas.
You need to do as I do and when you send an e-mail out to someone not in your whitelist have your mail program add it, so that all outgoing e-maila ddresses are checked against the white list and if they are not in they are added. Whitelist is great... and I've not missed any e-mails:)
The National Geographic Channel special Pyramids Live: Secret Chambers Revealed airs in the United States on Fox Television on Monday, September 16, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
The only way I know to air a show at 8pm Eastern and Pacific is to have it recorded! So now, is it live? Or is it recorded?
Tent: (Well you could do it under the stars.. but ok $100... or you could borrow it.. but we'll assume $100) Backpacks.. GOODNESS! You are CAMPING... so say maybe $20 (you know school back-packs at wal*mart) Sneakers for shoes. Water Filters?!?! Sheesh no.. just some bottled water $.89 Sleeping bags (most people have those already) Camping.. just use the wood around you! Food - Aldis! Canned goods.. total of maybe $5.00? Oh bah.. ricket's glenn? you can sure go into the woods. Pans? I hope everyone already has those in their house! So the total for this trip would be around $145 yup ahh nice and cheap!
However.. I guess what I'm saying is it's very low level algebra/math... nothing high.. yes you can use it.. but I haven't and have done just fine. And I guess I get kinda upset by the universities who say yo uhave to take some sort of math in the networking class field... because I seriously have major issues with math...
YES YES YES! I think you are totally on to something here. I do understand the concepts.. however when trying to do it on paper and working out the problem it doesn't work. And, if someone were to come up to me and ask me how to do a problem I can explain it to them.. but when I try to do it it doesn' twork out. I understand the concepts but it doesn't work with math. And indeed my questions on High School and even College math always were well "why does that work" or "why can't we do it that way?" and the teachers were always "uhhdunno that's just how it is" which was a totally unacceptable answer to me.
It's like if someone at work asks me "so umm why do we need this $2,000 router here?" an answer of "unndunno just wouldn't cut it".. yet in the teaching field.. it does...
I'd have to disagree. I work as a network administrator at a rather large ISP and am fluent in several programming languages. I also am very fluent in computers and fixing them, however math has never been my forte, and quite frankly I couldn't do an advanced algebra problem to save my life. But it's never ONCE hung me up. Math teachers at my Uni told me time and time again that Math is a key component to computers.. but I have yet to see it. Sure binary and hex and all that.. but only if you're working at the lower levels.. and even then you can do it on calculators.. and that's still really only low level math and just knowing how to do it. But algebra you never use unless you're programming a specific program that does something algebraicly in which case you have the formula. And, as a network administrator I have *never* once needed to know algebra.. just lower level math... I disagree and think the whole "math in the comp sci" thing is politics in the schools.
I'm a website designer.. and I know that sometimes when I'm designing a website I will notice that IE displays the page as it "thinks" I want it to be displayed.. rather then how I WANT it to be displayed.. where as netscape displays it as I CODED it.
An example. If you leave the closing off of a website.. IE will usually display fine.. on the other hand Netscape will display a blank page because.. well you didn't code correctly.
The problem, as far as I can see is that Netscape follows code.. IE just haphazardly tries to decide what YOU want to do and "fixes" the code.
If I understand this correctly.. Napster is gone... which leaves now... wait.. no it doesn't get rid of sharing software.. instead we now have access to tons of FREE (napster was to be pay) sharing software for MUCH more then napster ever dreamed of when they came out.. Want paintshop? Ok.. let me fire up KaZaa! Want videos? Ok.. let me fire up KaZaa! Want sheep? er.. that's not my department but you can probably find that on KaZaa too.
Apple forgot to check to see how the new 19" monitors would affect the weight and center of gravity on the new iMACs. As a result the new models are being recalled due to the fact that when in most any position but directly up (very hard on the neck) the new iMACS have a tendancy to fall over, damaging the LCD screen and thus voiding your warranty:)
Yeah... I don't have a credit card.. and I try to keep my SSN secret.. but my employer has it... which in this case wouldn't have helped. Yet another reason for me not to give it out to anyone who doesn't absolutely need it... while they may not have bad plans for it.. who knows where it's going to be stored and who might get at it!
Great.. unfortunately the SS Administration won't give you a new number unless you can PROVE that your number is being used illegally or against you. Great! So now we have to wait until someone steals our identity to get a new number. Something's kinda fishy with that. If your credit card is stolen you report it right away and get a new one. But no.. if your SS# is stolen you keep it unless someone is hurting you. EEEK! BAH!
I have a windows CE device and I've looked at cards made by Orinoco/Lucent WaveLAN. They seem to be very well supported and work with most any version of Windows CE. I know you talked about palm, but unless you have a reason to go palm (I can think of several good reasons), you might want to try windows ce. Simply put, palm needs it's own drivers, where as if you get drivers built-in in some windows ce stuff if you get the right cards.
This is a very good anology. Just as Apple/Linux/Microsoft are competing for business, so also the grocery stores are.
Microsoft is only doing their "job" if you will in bashing other competitors. Granted it would be better if they secured their stuff and got it working right! But hey, you can't blame Acme for having mold all over the floor and BiLo doesn't.. I'll just go to BiLo, and let those other people go to Acme:)
This is correct.. you follow my logic very well. You pay them. You use their service. What you pay them is "rent" if you will for their servers and bandwidth. They may do whatever they want to. You're free to go to another service. It's like if yo urent a house, you're paying the landlord for the right to live there, but he's free to sll the house, or say you can't have animals there, etc.
While there may be ethical questions about this type of thing. They are your ISP and you are using THEIR machines, hence they may do as they wish. If you aren't happy, tuff beans, you can go to another ISP. It's like the orbs system. While I think it was a total nightmare sometimes, if a sys-admin wanted to run it and block a computer system from sending him mail, that's his business and he has everyright to do that. Just as I have every right to do what I want in my front lawn (including putting up signs which read "No Fjordboys or Females"), an ISP has every right (though perhaps not ehtical) to block others from sending mail to/from them, and do whatever they want to incoming/outgoing data.

Honest to god? or God? Just which god/God is it honest to? Capital or lowercase G?
How can it be live when the webpage says:
