    I fail to see how.... if he KNOWS HOW to work the calculator he can do the fractions on there and figure that equation out. I know I'm one of those people who uses a calculator and can't do fractions in my head... teach the darn kids how to use the calculator correctly (I never really didn't learn that FROM CLASS), and they'll be able to do more then they could ever do in their head.

    Sounds like YOU have issues. Firefox doesn't launch? I'm running it on every machine in our call-center (deployed via AD) and it runs just fine.. have it on my machine at work, and home. We install it on every machine that comes in for repair and suggest people use it... I think *you* are the one with issues.

    My only thought is... in Server 2003 they do this (I think) by default and it's annoying as all get out... to the point of being unable to really browse the web without security boxes popping up all over the place. Isn't there a way to do it without being intrusive on the user? This is just going to force the user to increase the security level.

    I agree.. I'm extremely disapointed to see support for W2K going away as it's the O/S I run on my laptop, at home, and that we use here at work... it's fast sleek, and doesn't hog resources like XP... oh well.. here we come linux.

    Yes you are correct.. as far as I know you can only still have one live at a time... you could forward the one to the other.. at least here in the states on Verizon the forwarded call would be "in-network" and wouldn't cost... you could still MAKE outgoing calls (which we pay for) by switchin NAM... you are right.. no good solution yet though.

    You can.. at least with some samsungs on the Verizon network... my phone has a place for 2 NAMs.. so I can have 2 lines and switch back and forth :)

    Because it's possible they could get charged BACKWARD for the amount of time they have been using things like 911... etc that the USF charges... it's very smart for them to do it.. otherwise they risk having to dish out thousands and thousands of out of pocket dollars to pay back the years they have been using 911..

    The reason packet8 and some are charging the USF fees is because they may be regulated in the future, in which case they want to be covered.. I can't blame them.. good grief it's what 50 cents or $1.00... it's still a TON cheaper then POTS...

    I don't... I stop the spam before it leaves my server.. sorry, if you got on a blacklist it's your OWN STUPID FAULT.. lock your servers down better.

    Good grief they BETTER not lose another one! If I had a fleet of 5 cars, and over the coarse of 10 years I had major accidents with them that resulted in the death of the passengers.. I sure wouldn't be allowed back on the road after #2....

    How is it NASA gets away with homicide?

    Yeah sad how you can't get financial aid without enlisting in the selective service isn't it? It's like they use that to check to make sure you are enlisted.. how cheap is that?

    I have been "bucking" the system for years... the only people who have my SSN are my bank, my employer, the IRS, and my college (due to some horrible mixup that occurred when my parents gave them my number back in my youth.. however I got the school to generate a number for general use.. but they refused to remove my SS from the database)..

    But.... I've happily gone around not giving out my SSN.... Given Blood, etc, etc... just say "sorry, I don't have one".
