And "In Soviet Russia" blabs are getting uber lame. Halibut, even "Beowulf Cluster of..." didn't hang around this long. The stench of olde and rotten is getting rather thick me smells.
friends and family BEG me to remove Vista and replace it with XP I spent half an hour the other day in a computer store listening to a store employee try and find a top spec laptop that didn't come with Vista for a customer. So it isn't just the/. crowd, but people off of the street that want their XP.
I wonder how much of a business one could make upgrading Vista-polluted machines to XP for people...
The current administration is trying real hard to out-do Nixon as the most criminal Presidency in our nation's history They surpassed Nixon in that regard years ago.
Not only are they an Evil 'modern mega-Advertising Machine', they completely suppress the little guy in business by giving away services and software using the huge revenue from this evil activity. How is anyone supposed to make a living offering products and services like online email, apps, mapping, etc. by giving them away for nothing? How would Google like it if I was to set up a company funded by huge profits from some other activity to give away advertising on people's web pages for free?
How the hell do you use ~4GB? Open up Photoshop CS3 and a large PSD. In VMware Workstation one Windows 2003 R2, one CentOS 5.0, one Windows XP with IE6. That's 2+ GB right there.
Really? Rather expensive price tag to let OPEC set oil prices higher and higher while their costs remain the same. Someone is getting screwed over - and that would be us.
Except that meatspace has it's own rules. You've never been to a gas station with gas pumps that have LCD displays and speakers that start blasting advertising/marketing crap at you as soon as you lift the nozzle. Time to start thinking about getting that cabin in back woods Montana me thinks...
a) Sheer incompetence.
b) Sheer greed to milk the Gooberment contracts for all they are worth.
c) All of the above.
Joke you not.
Why didn't you just change the name servers for the domain to 127.0.0.1 and any FQDNs to 127.0.0.1? This would remove any traffic.

Someone should tell the US Gooberment that all their Crackberry©(tm) e-mail traffic goes through a data center in Canada, eh? See how fast The Bushies and Their Henchmen annex The Great White North, eh?

Why do you think some of us call "iPods" "stinkPods"? And those idiots spend hundreds of dollars on the bleepin' things. Fools.
Under previous regimes and in precedent times such organizations where named "Stasi" and "KGB".
Oh, Amerika, you are becoming what you fought so hard against...
Proprietary crap like that does not belong in a global standard.

They revealed their Great Evilness the day they started giving stuff away for free - financed by their Hugely Evil advertising-based revenue.
"If it looks too good to be true, it is."
If Messysoft acquires Yahoo I'll cancel ALL of our Yahoo services. More and more I wish Microsoft would, just like dog p00p, dry up and blow away.
And who helped put Saddam Hussein in power? The CIA you say?

$14 million is barely over an hour of the cost of the US occupation of Iraq: senate.gov

You mean "pasv" then "bin".
Just store it in XML and, at least, triple the storage requirements.
