Its like a hose full of water, you turn on the water on one end, and water almost instantly starts shooting out the other end, but the internal friction and compression of the materials in the hose will effect the speed of that processes. Think of a non compressable fluid, vesus a gas. electrons arn't very compressable, so its fairly instantanious but it does happen, but we know the percent change based on how conductive the material is.
Hmm I remember spending the entire summer of 1989 creating aweomse ascii graphics for the "SixPack BBS" I was the sysop named "The_Drunkard". Only to have my parents decide they didn't want the extra phone line anymore on the same day it went live.
How about implimenting a.net/passport (but secure, and encrypted from admin eyes) style of database network. Where students can not only sign up for classes on the computers, which they can currently do in most universities, but can use this database to hold thier entire schedule of anything and everything they want and need to do. This database can be access anywere and everywhere on multiple types of devices, and teachers can input info into a students schedule as reminders in a safe secure way. The possibilies are endless. But as such a system is common in the workplace, getting students used to such a system, and getting computer students to create and admin such a system would provide many after college benifits.
And have an open idea policy, especially amoung the computer students, so that they can impliment any enterprise solutions they can think of. And wireless, definatly wireless.
well they arn't individual patents they are parts of one patents. Each of which the guy summerized, and realized he couldn't properly summerize #16 without over explainig the other parts.
You've be suprised at the amount of spam I've gotten where all the contact info is wrong, or simply doesn't work, even if I did want to purchase the item. I have one peice of spam I get almost daily, in which I have filtered, but all attempts to contact them or the isp they sent the smtp through have bounced. And the website the spam points to doesn't ever come up, its quite humorus.
Any major redesign for a chip is very expensive, but minor changes can be done fairly cheap. So next time they have a major redesign they slap this feature on it. And then its a minor redesign to turn it on.
Your kidding right? Or course that isn't the words to imagine, hell, it isn't even the right beat. Its a lame attempt to troll, which I obviously just stepped into!:)
the real lyrics are here.
Umm this example decreases the total time by x regardless of the distance. So you would be able to send the signal 1 nanosecond sooner to the next galaxy that if you used light itself. Its not what your thinking. Basically your creating the wave, then spreading the wave, so that the front of the wave gets there sooner than light, and the back of the wave gets there that same amount of time less than light. Maybe we could figure out how to stretch that wave thousands of light years wide? HAHA
I think the point is, you can create the signal faster than light, but you simply can't manipulate the signal to put information in it faster than light.
Seriously, when I signed up the agreement was that I would not provide service to anyone outside my residence, which is fair I guess. If they want to crack down on me doing something that is proper let them try, but I'm not going to back down from asserting my rights. Personally I don't see what options that have to crack down. Though I have heard that their switches remember your mac address now so if you change the computer/network card hooked up it takes a reset to get it working again:(
Not true, because that bank would use that money to makne loas, many of which would be local buisnesses. How else do you think that bank would get the 410 thousand dollars a day it would have to pay in interest. (No single bank would allow you to deposit that much btw, specially not at one time, they simply couldn't handle it) But thats another story.
Well when GTA3 comes out for PC I'll have to have it, hmm multiplayer GTA3. it may be possible on the PS2 but I havn't heard anything about GTA3 having internet compacity
Dude, I know it seems a bit immature, and takes a while to understand, but spongebob has some great stuff in there if you watch it. Its just kinda hidden.
Well it does mention that you are required to have one member with racing experience. So yea, I'm thinking demolition derby.
You got me! :( Oh well, I didn't claim to NOT be an idiot, by the way.
Yes, but MS can still outside the court room give press speaches, and they will do just that. Hopefully the other side will too.
Your an idiot right?

RIP graphics? OH GOD THE AGONY! THE PAIN!
(ok it was a neat idea, but I never saw anyone make good use of it)

I wouldn't say most. Most people know absolutly nothing about networking.
Hu? Loki sold their games as closed source products, for linux.

Dude, I've played Go a only a few times, but I have to say THAT is a paranoid delusion of a game.
