Yes, but if there is vibration to it, it would generally be at the same herz. But as mentioned earlier there shouldn't. There will be of course, movement of air (or hydrodgen), which could create a whistle but as this will be an enclosed system, I seriously doupt it.
Well of course, you'll have to do organic/fractal/randomization to the skin. No hand designed skin would look right anyways, nature is random and repeating patterns at the same time. But the ability to render such randomizations in real time is the key (cause trust me, you wouldn't want to have the individual bumps on the faces in the game file cause GAWD!
Oh a side note, I wouldn't bother asking the computer corporations directly. A good place to start looking are groups trying to dispose of old laptops. I'd start with universities and state and local governments, and then maby move onto large corperations, you'd probably want to talk to the techs themselves if possible (sure they don't make such decisions, but generally they are the ones that know that they have a bunch of old laptops that need getting rid of)
I totally agree, considering the winzip algorithm is public. But I HATE the fact that find automatically searches through zip files for what your looking for. And I can't find a way to shut it off? Anyone know how??
Windows XP included winzip? Damn the man! But seriously, I've always wondered why winzip wasn't bundled with windows in the first place, would have been "nice" of MS to bundle the shareware vesion. Oh well:)
Fuck that! I've been stuck at 52 for years now, and its really annoying. Priceless my ASS.! Posting with score +1 cause I got karma to BURN BABY! Bring me down to 51! I dare you!
Well if you have a computer, you can buy a DVD for less than 50 bucks. And a Decoder Card (not required unless you want to be able to play DVD's and do other stuff at the same time) for another 50 bucks. If you want to play it out to your TV, you'll need a TV out video card at about 60 bucks. But if you already have a decent computer with at TV Out video card, and your not immediently worried about being able to use your computer at the same time. You can get DVD for 50 bucks!:)
Thats so weird I remember back in like 1996 hears that a DVD version of Ghost Busters was being released with the REAL MST3K characters on it. Never bought it, always wanted to (still don't own a DVD) Now I'm searching and searching, and it appears your correct:( how sad:(
(Or maby there really was one??? I shall search some more!! HAHA)
Well you know the DVD of GhostBusters has a MST3K "feature" its really awesome! I think they could easily reach deals with many distrubution companies to make MST3K versions of popular movies, But so far that is the only one that I know of.
You should always make your links on slashdot in href code. As slashdot ALWAYS includes a space in long words as to mess with the postings of ASCII art. Well know what? It doesn't work. But its still there.
Well obviously, as Misrosoft gets licensing money from anyone who develops games for the XBox. Only Microsoft signed apps would work. Of couse the boxes that MS sells to developers would be able to run developer apps, cause well, how would the developer be able to run them!:) Good luck gettins one:)
Well you can easily beam it through microwaves, and run a battery for times when the beam is crossed. Though the cat would QUICKLY learn not to cross the beam. Anyways untill we learn how to do subspace power transportation. I think the fun way would be to have 2 how swap batteries in it, and make the batteries with robot legs which are smart enough to walk over to their recharge station when they get low. And walk back and redock with your computer once filled. Get a bunch of these put the recharge station across the room and put up obstacles for it to cross. And you could have a fun time watching your pet batteries do their little labor walks. After a while it will start to feel like warcraft gold miners in your own home:)
I believe that the time has come from an Internet government. Any person or entity with an online presence can VOLUNTARILY join this government. By joining the Internet government you promise you pay a small tax on any income you earn from an Internet transaction (wither it be sales or service. This government shall declare its sovernity as a nation, and will defend (using the tax money) that soverity from governments that wish to take it away (by laws or otherwise) It will also use the money to promote commerce by adding to the existing infrastructure by creating public "roads" not owned by any corporations and free to use by citizens and non citizens alike. (sorry my spell checker didn't know how to spell word sovernity?)
This is nondynamic, meaning each pixel displays one and only one color. So you radiate the entire sheet with elecricity (most likly the pixels conduct electricity to eachother) and they glow.
Sounds more like an automatic system to me, sorta like airbags, you don't want to ever deploy an airback untill AFTER you've crashed. I'm sure there would be no way to deploy such a system from inside the cockpit.
I'm not sure either, probably reinvested as other company expenses, or simply paid to the executives.

Yea, I think those designers are lazy. They need to individual add each blade of grass at a time, or I won't look at it! :) -wink-
Suck on it Trebek.

Sadly the cost of shipping something to africa is more prohibative than the cost of any old laptop.

Doy you realize he was being funny.
Actually Quake3 tells you alot about memory management and other useful figures. But you have to have a base playing field of course.
Time to create an elected, by the people, cyber government. Sorry I wasn't clear on that part :)

s/or/for/
s/an stomic/an atomic/
:(
4? HEHE, you said 4! If I'm ever going to limit myself to a gaming lan or 4 systems, it would be for an stomic super bomberman tournament.

The first console that I can have a lan party with, I'm buying.
Ok, ASSUMING you correct. Why would such a feature be built into a commercial airplane?
