The deeper issue with XP is that the vendor culture is to expect to run with lots of rights, it isn't that big a deal to setup a user account, and there is 'runas'.
You are thinking inside the box. It is quite unlikely that the bank bothered to verify that you answered the security question truthfully, so there is no problem in simply treating it as a second password (this doesn't make it any more convenient, but it avoids the problem where people know the answer).
The text commentary on the picture you link indicates that the safe is (probably) only intended to resist opening for a certain amount of time (like any safe really). Presumably, the people who approved it were aware that it had certain limitations.
So which of the Republicans being discussed didn't leave office in disgrace? Hell, Foley's scandal had repercussions for the people around him.
Note that I tend to lean Democratic, and that this is all within the context of my 'impassioned' defense of Larry Craig above (the one where I call him a jerk).
Sure, there is lots to be angry about, but there really isn't any need to bring the other names into it just to make the point about the hypocrisy (Or perhaps better, mentioning their names in the same sentence as this guy doesn't do anything to make the point any stronger).
Oooops. That last paragraph should read "So I see some value in not lumping hypocrites in with rapists just because the rapists happen to be hypocrites."
And it would probably read better as "So I see some value in not lumping mere hypocrites in with rapists just because the rapists happen to be hypocrites too."
I find hypocrisy offensive, but I see no reason for it to carry punishment under the law (but I do think it is fine that Congress has ethics that they are supposed follow and such). Rape, on the other hand, deserves punishment.
So I see some value in not lumping hypocrites in with rapists just because the hypocrites happen to be rapists.
Sure, for small amounts of code, the biggest risk run is that of being rude, I guess the part that fascinates me the most is that there are people who do not even realize the behavior might be contentious.
I'm pretty calm, I was responding to the GP more than to the situation in the article.
What development do you want him to do in a 5 minute piece?
I guess if his goal was to impress you with his storytelling ability he failed, but if it was to advertise his vision to Hollywood, he succeeded.
The underlying security model of NT based operating systems is entirely sufficient in the context of a user workstation.
I could misuse images in much the same way.

But the lives of the soldiers inside these drones is at risk!

Getting a cashiers check in your own name and then signing it over when they give you the vehicle is a lot less messy.
Thinking about it, the padlocks aren't for keeping the safe closed, they are for making it obvious that a single person tried to open it.

I've really had it with you people posting made up words to Slashdot.
Yeah, they could never ever actually change the form, that would be impossible.
What 'we' are you talking about?

Kill a hippy today!

And yet it is well documented that increased radiation exposure results in higher rates of cancer.
Larry Craig is a jerk, not a predator.
For some reason, the users expect applications to use the Apple provided video stuff, not X windows or whatever.
"I see that they've stopped teaching good sentence and paragraph construction in college." is a bit of a doozy.

Probably not the easiest way to do things, but it works.

Whereas this girl never had a chance to take responsibility (whatever the hell that means), she was simply ejected from the community.
