I'm not sure I understand why that is one of the worst jobs in science. Reading the article, it seems they were just being belittled and TV weather-forcasting called a "fast-food science."
I'd still do it for a paycheck.

Your best friend was the author? Were you by chance the thirsty roommate?
I am attending a University in the U of Texas system. I am a CS major and am only a semester away from graduation. And I've never had a better time in my life. I am currently working for the CS Dept's Computer and Information Technology Center. I make $13.50/hr just programming ASP and SQL 19 hrs/week.
A colleague of mine and I started our own web dev business doing hosting and programming for local companies and there is really nobody else in the area doing anything similar, so work is not hard to find.
I think I'm going to stay in school and work on a Math and/or Physics degree.. or maybe an MBA. School is the greatest.
What's really disappointing is how hard it is to read eBooks while in the shower. Now that's a pain in the ass.
How long are people in the tub, anyhow?
It's not just universities doing this. My girlfriend lives in an apartment complex (primarily students) in which they have a complex-wide wireless network (Airwave, I believe). Anyhow, their network has not worked longer than 15 minutes at a time for the past 2 weeks. The apartment managers turned off the network access to everyone this past Friday and required everyone to install patches, virus scanners, "Service Pack 1", etc., and turn in a signed affidavit that this has been done in order to get internet access back... More power to 'em!
Anyhow, my university sucks. Our campus email is flooded by upwards of 200 emails a day with "Re: Your application" in the subject line. Why can't this type of thing be handled more appropriately by the tech people at a friggin' university?
And an emergeny patch today which is supposed to fix much of the lag experience when many players congregate in an area. Cool!
Just do the same thing described here:2 60

But in Korea, the PSP is only for old people.

Brings a whole new meaning to a box full of pr0n...

Oh, I see now.. I was just caught by the use of a database in your post... I actually went and looked up what a pivot table actually did.
Seems rather useful, now.
Take care.
This page explains what they do, at a very basic level.

I'm not sure that's the point. Excel is not a RDBMS and is not meant to be used as you would imply.
Even after they pay me the money, I'm still going to melt all the cities of the world with hot magma.
Shouldn't have ridden with those streamers on the handlebars.

Wow. That's a great idea!

About time for Apple to bust out with a new series of Switch ads.
