The general feeling I get is that the poster is making a pre-emptive strike against arguments in favor of voluntary amputation for mechanical augmentation. Which really doesn't work well as a brand new comment, since the hints of such sentiments are present in other comment threads already.

If the fruit of knowledge is how Adam gained the understanding of what is good and what is evil, how on earth was he supposed to know that disobeying the big guy was wrong?
