Getting mass out of the gravity well is still expensive. Why not use a form of Solar Laser to move the junk to an L-Zone then build a drone operated Test-Bed in the L-Zone to recycle the mass. This would make a boring Science Fiction story, but the commercial applications? Maybe AAA for spent Satellites?
I kind of figured that web sites were shielded by the first amendment. Since when did a person need a web site to download, FTP has been around longer than WWW.
I RTFA, it was a very nice soft sell of how one could still use windows. Having three monitors hanging off my Ubuntu 11.04 laptop causes the girls to stop and ask easy to answer questions about usage.
A lot of people's personal items are still in tack, but under a lot of debris. I think it might be a nice gesture if a couple of extra robots were built so as to help clean up in the cities that were affected by the earthquake. And I know that supporters of Skynet aren't going to appreciate this; but after the cities are cleaned up, maybe some of those T1000's could be hired to do things like collect the garbage, maintain the parks; and the one thing I think ALL Japanese people would appreciate, "answer tourist's dumb questions; repeatedly."
FTFA, the use of a "piezoelectric resonator" allowed a Neutron to be influenced by Earth's gravity. Could the same concept be applied to more complex atoms?
People use to say the same about breaking the Sound Barrier, space travel apparently has the same arguments that air travel use to have; I'm not surprised.
solar, wind, thermal are all good sources. but sometimes the sun, wind, and drill bit is not enough. H3 is not radio active, and is relatively portable. I believe that watching one's thyroid gland stop functioning because of radiation poisoning could ruin an otherwise beautiful day.
Past primitive human culture's ability to survive, after meeting in some way, an advanced culture when it takes its first crap, is pretty dismal. I can not help but think what it would be like for Leif Erikson vs. Princess Cruise Lines at the port of Port of Akureyri, Iceland, what the outcome would be.
I call them, "Mediocrity."

How much data is 'carried' via this 'Hoof-Net'?
I guess I can still get Yuri from our Amazonian overlords?
I don't think of some mickey mouse group of people; just a thought.
If Ford had teamed up with Facebook, they could have called the car the, "Smart Ass"; just a thought...
Gopher?
In the fullness of time, WebGL will handle the security stuff. Maybe for those who bathe in Silver-Lite, they will ask questions like, "why?"

in FTP one can obtain a list of files to download by typing the command DIR. HTML of any flavour is never considered.

the request for help kind of sounds like someone's high school term paper that's due in two weeks...

Then I'd say NASA has the right man at the right time to quickly repair it.
TomTom GPS unit, excellent condition, easy to use. Cheap! Will trade for a comparable Other GPS unit.
Given the overall Chinese Aviation Creativity, it might kind of cool to see Sky Lab 2.0

Lets say, oh, I don't know, like maybe the Moon?

Wouldn't Curved Charged Coupled Peripheral make more sense?

the sun and the moon are the two largest objects in earth's sky. the moon is the object that is not as bright.
